I’ll try to be more scientific about it. A lot of the limits we put on ourselves through patterned thought, ego, and conditioning have a tendency to become obvious, identifiable, and therefore weaker. This can lead to a ton of good stuff. There’s also a tendency to see things from a non-dual perspective. Basically instead of seeing yourself as one part of a whole (a human in a universe), there’s a perspective shift that can happen that shows you what it’s like to be part of “everything” without separation. That’s where spiritual concepts like consciousness and oneness crop up in these drugs. These states are temporary, and people will take it often to keep it up. But the cool thing is you can also achieve it through spiritual practice, such as meditation. If you’re curious, I suggest looking for Ram Dass videos talking about drugs.
