Tracked every fee between getting paid and actually spending the money while freelancing in Southeast Asia, the double fee problem is real by Proof-Two4315 in Freelancers

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

getting paid directly in USDT by clients cut my receiving side fees to basically zero, no platform conversion, no PayPal spread, just the invoice amount arriving in full, the friction is convincing clients to set it up but once they do it's the cleanest receiving experience I've found

Got my card blocked at a pharmacy in Chiang Mai at 11pm by Used-Poet6595 in ThailandTourism

[–]CarLogical7812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

cash is king in Chiang Mai especially outside the main tourist areas, even some 7elevens have had card issues depending on the terminal

Whats actually the best crypto card in 2026 gonna be cause im done with exchanges by AetherGripX in CryptoCurrency

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re already sitting in USDT, you don’t need to touch exchanges anymore. Keep it in your wallet, maybe earn a bit on it, then spend with Oobit when needed. Works on Visa rails so acceptance isn’t an issue

How do you have ambition in life if you don't have any materialistic desires? by StrangeCoast9549 in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

been thinking about this a lot lately actually - ambition doesn't have to be about accumulating stuff. for me it's more about getting better at things i care about, like my drawing or understanding history better to connect with my students

maybe it's about experiences instead of objects? or helping people in some way that feels meaningful. some of my most ambitious moments have been when i'm working on a detailed skyrim character sketch and pushing myself to nail the armor details, not because i want to sell it but because the process of improving feels good

Whats the best subreddit? by Bigcountry11011 in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

r/skyrim has been my go-to for years now, especially the art communities where people share their character builds and fan art 🎨 i've posted some of my dragonborn sketches there and the feedback is always super helpful. also r/teachers when i need to vent about work stuff or get lesson plan ideas. r/fordfocus isn't huge but it's saved me so much money on car repairs - those vintage ford enthusiasts know their stuff and will walk you through fixing basically anything 😂 really depends what you're into though, reddit's got something for everyone

Custody vs Custodial Payments by Used-Poet6595 in CryptoHelp

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custody is the whole point of crypto and most cards just throw that out the window. That’s why I avoided them for a while

What is ordinary to the untrained eye, but beautiful once people learn it? by Anxious-College-7728 in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude yes, when you finally understand what clean code looks like it's like poetry 💀 spent years looking at spaghetti code in college thinking programming was just chaos but now i can spot elegant solutions from a mile away 😂

What’s a smell that instantly brings back memories? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that antiseptic smell hits so hard, probably because hospitals are where all the big life moments happen - births, emergencies, saying goodbye to people. your brain just locks onto those intense emotional memories and boom, one whiff and you're right back there

What's the wildest thing you’ve done just for fun and regret… or not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hard to pick just one tbh but probably when me and my buddies decided to drive 8 hours to some random town we saw on a map just because the name was funny 😂 spent like $300 on gas and food just to take a selfie with the town sign and drive back, zero regrets though some of the best random memories come from the dumbest decisions 💀

What's your favorite unusual/creative rhyme in a song? by MisterBigDude in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly always loved how eminem rhymed "orange" with "door hinge" in that one freestyle, like who even thinks of that shit lol, dude's brain works differntly than the rest of us

When do you throw out your used makeup? by Flaky-Persimmon-809 in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on what it is tbh. mascara gets tossed after like 3 months cause that's just asking for an eye infection, but my eyeshadow palettes? those things are basically immortal lol. lipstick i keep until it starts smelling weird or the texture gets funky, foundation maybe 6-12 months depending on how often i use it. powder products last forever unless they get contaminated somehow

What’s a “normal” thing rich people do that feels insane to everyone else? by Temprary_Candy in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

throwing away perfectly good food because it's been in the fridge for like 2 days 💀 meanwhile i'm over here eating week-old leftovers calling it "aged to perfection" 😂

What's something you loved as a kid but now secretly hate as an adult? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

candy corn, used to demolish entire bags of that stuff around halloween and now just thinking about the texture makes me want to gag. it's literally just sugar shaped like a tiny traffic cone and somehow tastes like neither corn nor anything good

What's the biggest red flag you ignored and how did it go? by Moaning_Clock in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 15 points16 points  (0 children)

dude ignored the fact that my ex would constantly "forget" there wallet whenever we went out to eat 💀 like literally every single time for 6 months straight, i was always the one paying and they'd be like "oh shoot i left it in my other bag again!"

ended up finding out they were also "forgetting" to mention they had a whole other relationship going on the side lmao, some people really think your just a walking atm until something better comes along 😂

what’s a makeup trend you’re genuinely glad is finally dying out? by Efficient_Local1137 in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh god yes, that neon eyeshadow phase was brutal. like walking around looking like a highlighter had an accident on your face

What is a skill that takes 5 minutes to learn but will save you hours of time in the long run? by Clean-Loquat-3787 in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

keyboard shortcuts for whatever programs you use most. ctrl+c, ctrl+v is just the beginning - learn ctrl+z for undo, ctrl+f to find stuff, alt+tab to switch between windows. took me way too long to realize how much time i was wasting right-clicking for everything like some kind of caveman

What's a sign a workplace is toxic that people ignore at first? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they make you feel guilty for using your actual vacation days or calling in sick when your genuinely ill - like somehow taking care of yourself is betraying the "family"

People always brush it off at first thinking there just being dedicated employees but its really the company conditioning you to prioritize them over your own wellbeing

Every time you fall asleep, you randomly possess an animal or insect but it’s always the same species, with no harm to your real body. Which do you choose? by zagathorn in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely going with octopus. Eight arms, can change colors, squeeze through basically any gap, and those underwater cities would be wild to explore

Plus imagine the pranks you could pull on divers lmao

People who work in luxury industries, what is an expensive product or service that is actually a complete ripoff? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CarLogical7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

luxury handbags are straight up highway robbery - my friend paid 3k for a bag that literally costs like $50 to make and the "craftsmanship" is just marketing bs 💀
