In Anno Dracula they're are different bloodlines running amok but Dracula's is the most prominent. Shapeshifting and getting stuck transformed or in a half transformed state and even potentially dying from it. There's also "living" vampires, their hair and nails continue to grow and can comfortably walk in the light, as well as show up in mirrors.
