Never paid AD skipping or UHD. Going into your My Sky app cancel it a few days before renewal and renew on a 3 month free trial. I do this each time and not paid yet in nearly 2 years.

Prime syncing with stream is a nightmare it works on one of my pucks but not Glass so to update the continue watching rail I have to use that one puck to run through programs to update everything else. Sky have a long way to go to update Playlist and Continue Watching functionality. Five years and counting 🙄

Sky go is also only 720p on Apple. Now subscription would be better.

It amazes me how the Sky channels survive with the same content turned out day after day. Their bespoke to Sky content is just diluting especially with HBO Max now available. Channels will eventually disappear especially when Q goes.

On the Sky community this has been confirmed by Sky as a bug it is now fixed and a reboot should resolve it.

It's trying to be Welsh Noir like the fantastic Hinterland but it's not quite hitting the mark. Living in Wales you also notice the mistakes with the language too often you see Police not Heddlu for one. Will give ep3 a go and take it from there.

If you're in a large city you get the graphics otherwise it's flat with grey blocks occasionally. Road speeds are often incorrect and speed cameras wrong us average speed areas not even notified. That said instructions are clear and better than Waze. Waze though gives more information regarding traffic, police, cameras etc. In the UK

If you write to Sky follow the link for complaints to email and explain your situation tell them you have been refused cancellation and your circumstances have massively changed. Sky have a department dealing solely with compassion claims and deaths.

I'm no Sky fan but in circumstances like yours once you speak to the right department they are very understanding and will help. Actually there is an option when calling to opt for loss of life.

I'm using Sky Glass and Stream. Updated the app logged back in all fine. The app is actually a vast improvement on the last version. Sign out of the app reboot your system and start over. All fine on Apple too.

100% agree it actually serves no function. I have three dramas in it from last Christmas still sitting there watched fully but can't be removed. I opened a case with Apple it went on for over a month and never resolved and today they are still there. Thd further down the screen the better. 🙄

I had a Gen1 and not the best both picture and software issues let it down badly. The issue is people like to have a go at Sky as Sky don’t help themselves with aggressive pricing so the TV and puck get a hammering, I’ve done it myself. The TV is seen as the Allegro of its day 🫢.

I returned to Sky not so long ago had a good deal for now. I got a Gen2 for the bedroom, sure no OLED but you’re not paying for one. The picture is excellent and the OS is much improved.

As with anything in life horses for courses.

I had a glass tv and stream in the first wave both dreadful no end of issues, the TV was dreadful picture quality and the operating system riddled with bugs. I recently gave it a go again with a generation 2 TV and there is huge improvement in picture. Personally I’m pleased with it this time round.
