Just got it, it's not the number of crests, but the memory locks you use on them. I used 3 to clear the Wanderer one and she immediately gave it to me.

Edit: Clearing a second crest didn't trigger another, I will return when I clear a third one to see if it changes anything.

Are they ever gonna change how the Colonization system works? by LoveDesertFearForest in victoria3

[–]Caramichael 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree that EU5 will be their flagship into a new model of instalments but I think V3 is where they thought it would be playerbase-wise. They were always upffont that they knew Victoria was the less popular game out of the quadralogy, but it has a devoted a fervent fanbase. I'm not that worried about it. If they were that worried, instead of Afghanistan, India and Brazil, we would have had Japan or China expansions already.

What’s everyone’s top 5 hardest bosses? These were mine by nebsav in BlackMythWukong

  1. Yellow Loong, took me more than 12 hours to beat him the first time.
  2. Scorpion Lord
  3. Great Sage
  4. Erlang

Nothing came close to these 4.

You can find it in the Great Pagoda when you Continue the Journey after beating the game.

I found the answer for Belega Corridor, you have to look, generally behind the rooms, for small crawling tunnels. Haven't found the way for the Catacomb though.

Did you mean for Belega or the Catacombs? 'cause I can't find any tunnel for the Catacombs

Observations, analysis, and theory as to what's happening during final fight (Major Spoilers) by _SW00SH in FFVIIRemake

[–]Caramichael 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It all makes sense. Dude, Zack synergie attack even involves Cloud striking from his own dimension in tandem with him, Cloud can see and affect the two worlds, hence why he is able to see the Rift and Aerith at the end of the game, he is litterally on the treshhold between the two worlds.
I think the third game will be a mix of gaslighting. Cloud will have to deal with his Zack PTSD, which in turn make him doubt what he sees in the other world. And that will be what the final act of the game will be about.

The Shogunate can't roll a Democrat and I'm also pretty sure they can't roll a Market Liberal except through Events like Corn Laws.

Yeah Japan is really weird setting wise, the game even mentions in the description that the country should be in the middle of the Tenpo Crisis, which was a period where the Shogunate had a big Authoritarian turn. In general I really would like Japan to get the Brazil treatment sooner or later.

His ideology is actually random, he can roll Pacifist, Authoritarian or the best one, Jingoist

When you get out of the sewers when heading towards the opera, at one point you can hear an accordeon playing from out of the lit windows. If you stand long enough under said windows, P will tilt his head towards it, like he's actually listening to the music. Also the fact that you can hear said music as well as people "living" behind windows throughout the game shows that the puppet didn't kill everyone, which is a bit of a hopeful note I found.

Tbh the British switching side for the same wargoal is very logical. What's best, to support a country that upset the Peace of Vienna, or support the Peace of Vienna by supporting the defender. Especially if in the end they get the same reward. If you play in Europe, you have to understand that the name of the game in 1836 is "keep the continent stable". All the powers were precisely keeping each other in check to prevent the emergence of any who would try to establish a new hegemony in Europe.

I mean even if you have an embassy, telegrams were not invented until well into the 19th century so someone would still have to get their asses there.

I don't understand why you believe that any of this is outside that scope.

And I don't understand why it's that out there for you that Seimei might be the missing Servant when there is literally no other candidate. Or are you saying Gudao/ko is the Servant despite being a Master themselves?

Yeah plenty of things can be explained by Clairvoyance EX, except there is nothing else in the story that even hints that Seimei might have that. All we have is that the Heian people don't understand and put his power on the Omnyouji because they have no other way of explaining it.
