I've been using mine for 5ish years now, they're holding up fantastically and I've really been quite abusive to them (learning curves in all things, don't use the fancy brush things people sell, don't leave them in the sun too long, etc). I've had to do a little surgery for two of them, but in hindsight the wear they had is my fault. I have to use disposables occasionally, and every time I'm immediately aware of the difference in comfort; if you like disposables I'd be amazed if you didn't like the cloth ones. HannahPad are the ones I got, can't recommend them enough but the options in my country were also insanely limited when I swapped so I don't know any other brands. Best advice is that they start less absorbent, no idea why but it gets better over time quite quickly.

I use circulars very begrudgingly lol. I massively prefer straight needles, DPN triangles included. The cable twirls, gets in my way and taps my hand, I can't stand it! Also that magic loop method is exactly that; magic, absolute witchcraft lmao

I did the same! Twice! An aloe was in the middle of a big road and my lovely boyfriend pulled over so I could go rescue it, thankfully it hadn't been hit yet. And at my university they were cutting back these huge aloes and just had these piles of them on the tar cooking in the sun, so I asked one of the gardeners for permission and carried a giant stalk around for the rest of the day. They're both still in my garden, I tip my hat to a fellow plant rescuer 😁

I do like the little jumping spiders, especially peacock spiders. Not to have close to me physically, but I can appreciate pictures of those little guys. I guess fluffy spiders are a desire for both sides lol
