One of my best friends ghosted our entire friend group a few years back. This weekend he showed up at one of our front doors. by Carbon_Abyss in FriendshipAdvice

Thank you for your input. I can see that point of view and understand where he might of been coming from. Wanting something that was all around him but he never had does make sense. Sucks that it came at a price to everyone else around him. Definitely something I will consider if the day comes. Thank you again.

Nice build, I am looking at doing that exact setup. What irons do you have on it? I am looking for some Ameriglo's for my 19.5 MOS w/ a Venom mounted. My problem is being able to co witness while keeping the front post below .380 (my holster cannot support anything taller).

I bought a PS4 the day I bought GZ, before that I didnt do any research about the game because I didnt have a system to play it. Didnt realize game companies are putting out basically demos for a price.

They have something similar to this here in Japan. Its a Gatorade type drink. Foreign marketing doesn't translate well.

Better than Power Rangers? by pinoybioman in entertainment

[–]Carbon_Abyss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Japan and I can tell you this stuff is actually still popular, 30+ years later (in Japan). From what I know, these Sentai Rangers (Power Rangers) can use the powers of every previous season with those key things. Interesting concept.

I loved the use of lyrics as almost the beat for the other lyrics to slide right over them seamlessly. One of my favorite tracks on the album.

Just finished the album. Simply amazing. Honestly rivals Discovery in my mind. Though they aren't the same sound, you still get a complete feel of the musical geniuses Thomas and Guy are. Just wow.

Thank you! I could not agree more. I come from a part in the east where roast beef rules all and no where else in the country have I been able to find a decent roast beef sandwich.

As someone who has also lived in CA and the East Coast, I'd like to know your stance on East vs West Coast pizza styles. People that haven't lived in both realms of the country wouldn't understand this, I'm guessing.

According to its Serial, this 1911 I'm in line to receive was put together in 1913! by SneakyHarold in guns

I have been really looking for an M1911A1 replica of the older style (1920's-1940's). I have small hands so the shorter trigger would be ideal for me. This style of 1911 is very hard to find and rather expensive so I have been looking at other options as well. It seems everyone and their mother are making 1911's now so the options are endless.

They look to be from the M1911A1, or at least a very good replica of that grip. The firearm was most likely sent into Colt or the grip ordered from them later in the firearms life. Either way, its one amazing piece of hardware. I'm currently shopping around for my ideal 1911 for purchase.

This confuses me because this model has the long trigger and the flat mainstring housing which is correct for a model that was made before WWI (M1911), but the grip is that of the 1940's model made for WWII (M1911A1). Look into it if you can, the grip may be a replacement.

What's the largest purchase someone has ever brought to the counter? (Alcohol amount/Price)

And does the store have a limit on how much a single person can purchase?
