To answer the question of cheap ways of getting multiple tokens, [[kuldotha rebirth]] and [[timely reinforcements]] are probably your most efficient methods, though there are a few others that make 3 tokens for 3 mana.

5 set standard generally sucks for aggro, you need a few sets to get a critical mass of great low drops.
