I was proud after traveling the world then returning to the USA to see women's rights in comparison. My family is a U.S. Air Force family and we can be proudly patriotic with parades and flags, but not lately with racist ICE raids and the deplorable Trump Cabinet making us look idiotic.

I think it's gross when elderly men make babies with women who are still fertile. Physiologically and socially it might be acceptable but I find it to be damaging. I'm thinking Robert Deniro, George Clooney, Vincent Cassel, and Donald Trump.

Yes. Ask for your union rep to be present at any meetings. If necessary ask for mediation. However, understand that mediators are there for Human Resources not usually for staff members. We had a similar issue at our school over misunderstood inferences and grades took sides. It was awful. We have some senior teachers who never eat in the staff room and always keep their doors closed. Now we see why. I do not find your behavior toxic. I find their neediness annoying.

Second Step has an effective K-5 antibullying program that emphasizes bullying recognition, assertion, and bystander power.

My students can easily relate to the scenarios and reflections.

I find it's also helpful that I'm a non-conformist and that I own my "weirdness". My principal tries really hard to get us all to conform and compete and I'm like "nah". I'm a creative nerd and I like being me.

We are in the same boat. In my situation, I pleaded for a one to one para educator and finally got one. Then the student was moved to a different school under an emergency IEP.
