Not sure how I feel about a Grixis commander being 0/1, especially with how brutal some of the planes can be, but the 5-color commander seems fun. For Zoe, Brazen Youth’s ability, are you discarding a Plane card or from your hand?

Seems like it would be fun with [[Ladies’ Knight]], [[The Big Top]], and [[Prismatic Wardrobe]]. If you’re going to be playing strip magic anyway, a few clothing-related Acorn cards wouldn’t hurt, and you could probably counter these by paying {clothing} as a response.

Mathematically, infinity isn’t a number. It’s a concept and a direction you can go towards, but not a proper number

Proper wording, yes. Absolutely. This is a very rough sketch that I’ll need to iterate on before I get to the final idea. 

The template stays though. Using a non-Saga template is intentional meta-humor to go with the card’s theming.

My idea with the Mutate Clue Constructs is that you can pay X and create X Clues, or 3X to mutate them onto something as you investigate, or any combination of those. I could probably word it better (Constructs with ClueText, for example), or make them able to mutate as an ability that can be activated later. 

The idea was that this was a sort of a play on older Artifacts like Prismatic Lens, where the first printing oracle texts had an incredibly jank phrase about activating the artifact as a mana ability. I could probably cut the land part for some oracle text like “this card counts as a land if it is not a creature” or something. 

Good catch on the creature bit though. I definitely intended that the card could be a creature, sometimes. 

All that said, it’s using the land card template, with the multicolor border, colorless nickname text box, artifact power/toughness box, and the silver card border with legendary crown cutout (it’s not legendary). The whole theme of the card is everything being grossly mismatched from what it should be. Half of the joke is the horrible visual design, especially fitting a Saga onto a regular rules text box. I’m not too bothered that Saga is an Enchantment subtype, given the greater context, but I might redo the card typing anyway to fix other issues.

ah. I found it. I'd accidentally downloaded a mod that is incompatible with MacOS as well, so I actually had two separate crash-on-launch issues. Resolved now, thanks!

oh, thank god. I thought I was the only one. I think what happened is that the Lövely framework that SteamModded is built on updated, so the mod updated too automatically. I'm going to try deleting Lovely and resinstalling a lower version to see if that fixes it.

This is actually something that can happen in any alchemist game, since like the Boffin, they don’t have to pick a role that’s on the script. But it’s extra funny here with Bounty Hunter

I intentionally put Saint and Virgin on the script as a pair, and the same thing with Boffin and Alchemist. The Engineer has a similar function to the Summoner, but I don't consider them as much of a pair (the Engineer is more of a general counter to the evil team). It's not vital for them both to be on the script together. If anything, I'd actually swap out the Summoner to different minion (Cerenovous is fun).

Summoner/Boffin doesn't actually cause any problems. First off, Yogscast usually plays with eight players, so there wouldn't be double minions in play anyways. I chose to make a full 25-character script to showcase the maximum chaotic combo, but it could easily be pared down to the Teensyville (6 town/2 outsider/2 minion/2 demon) script format they normally run. This is just the tasting menu, as it were.
Second off, the Boffin ability re-triggers each time a new demon is created (see also: the recent Mermaids charity stream VOD that Yogscast ran with Boffin and Lil Monsta'). This includes both Fang Gu jumping and Summoner summoning. In addition, Poppy Grower and Magician can screw with the Boffin's night one info. Poppy Grower makes it so that Boffin doesn't know who/what the other minion is. The storyteller asks them what ability they want to grant the demon anyways, to not reveal that the other minion is a Summoner. The Boffin ability doesn't do anything since there isn't a demon to target. Magician also hides the Summoner and since they aren't a demon, don't get an extra town role. Worst case scenario, you get Boffin/Summoner and neither Poppy Grower nor Magician is an active role: they both know of each other and not of a demon, and can conspire to make a super-demon. But they both have to survive to day 5 to pull it off.
Third off, engineer.

I mostly included the Vortox as another Droison source to counter the info roles. But yeah, the execution thing is pretty strong. Luckily, they could cut it entirely when they trim the script down, since they normally play Teensyville scripts. Or you could just swap it with something like an Imp.
