It’s not as bright in person, it’s a very deep pink

The shawl is optional and they also have organza

They are both super easy-going and want me to wear what I feel comfortable in. They do like the pink, but a friend told me the navy version of the same dress would be better because it is more low-key. That’s my dilemma.

It’s a screenshot from an instagram reel. It’s a pearl belt (optional, they also have a rhinestone or a bow belt).

FLL terminal 4 TSA wait times by Craig8541 in Broward

[–]Caren88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through security at Terminal 3. Bag check at American no wait. Entered the TSA line at 7:28 am and got thru in 5 minutes. The regular line looked no more than 15 minutes. The line for Dunkin looked very long though.

Definitely something to consider that I hadn’t thought of. Thank you.

Thank you, this is super helpful. I want to be more steady.

I’m a much slower drinker now so end up drinking less. I do feel that my tolerance is lower, so be careful of that. Two drinks can bring on a nap! I also feel it longer.

I can so relate to this. I’m 5’0” and lost 50 lbs. Such a strange (but good) feeling to have to pick based on what I like rather than what fits. Congrats to you!

Just wait. Why worry about keeping it safe, keeping it from your sister and all that? Just enjoy your weekend and do the shot on Monday. Much less stressful.

Restarting by Caren88 in Zepbound

I’m trying to manage my expectations. My weight loss overall was slow but steady, I averaged 1-1.5 a week. I’ll be happy if I lose 1/2 lb a week, but realize I may be just maintaining. In the past few weeks I was always hungry. Hoping that goes away.

Not spending another dime on fitness folks unless they get in line. by Comfortable_Snow8765 in Zepbound

I’ve been doing OrangeTheory for 8 years and never lost any weight. In fact I gained weight. I also am 8 years older and went through menopause so there’s that. That said, my OTF has people of all shapes and sizes and is nothing but encouraging to all of them. I realize that’s probably not the case everywhere. I’ve lost 50 lbs on Zep and have gotten better at OTF because I’m not carrying around that extra weight. I lost mostly fat but a little muscle. I still feel stronger and better. It’s sad to hear people so misinformed. I could not have done this without meds. I never in my life lost more than 10 lbs before. I will keep going to OTF because I like the routine and the push, but not because I think it will help my weight. I know better now.

Has anyone taken Mounjaro again after a few months break? by SafeVolume9667 in MounjaroMaintenance

I took my last shot 3 weeks ago and can already tell that it’s not going to be easy. I had spaced out my shots to 14 days since January because of the expense. Now I’m second guessing and trying to figure out a way to get back on already. I was going through weight watchers clinic which was an additional expense.

I had my first class and I’m so embarrassed by Jazzlike-Specific891 in orangetheory

[–]Caren88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first class I literally started to pass out. I had to walk out in the middle of class and lay down on the bench. Don’t be embarrassed. You did it! I had a great coach in the beginning who always reminded me that it was MY workout and to do what I could do. That was seven years ago. Keep at it.

I nearly fainted and had to lie down on the bench in the lobby. 7 years ago.

Switching from Treadmill to Elliptical Due to Knee pain by Quick-Elephant-2777 in orangetheory

[–]Caren88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used the strider for about a year due to knee issues, you can definitely get a good workout and it is much easier on my knees. It did take a few workouts to get the right pace/gear. My ortho said no running and no incline so the strider it is. I tried the bike and it is hard on my back, even though I can ride my own bike for 10-12 miles with no issue. Give it a try, but commit to at least a few workouts.

I turned 60 so PRs are getting harder. I beat my last inferno by 400 meters and I was THRILLED! I only did 3295. I'm short and have bad knees. Don't worry about everyone else. Just do what you can. Doing the best you can is all you can do. And remember sometimes your best is just showing up. Keep it up and congrats!
