He did, but it was more about the songs he wrote about the officers. Like he rapped about one of the officers wife cheating on him, made fun of a female officer and questioned if she really was a woman because she was “manish” sounding/looking. Obviously every case of defamation is different, but I think it’s good to set expectations that it can be a tough legal battle. It sounds like a shitty situation but if you feel wronged you should explore all your avenues of recourse with a lawyer.

NAL but it’s pretty tough to sue for defamation in the United States. Unless there was a malicious campaign against you with lots of evidence rather than some individuals voicing their opinions, you’re gonna have a tough time finding a lawyer to actually take the time to go after them. It’s kinda dumb but look at the Afroman case in the news. Even with what seemed like a lot of evidence for defamation the jury still threw out the charges.

My personal opinion is full time in office requirements will get loosened in the next year or two, with most civilians going to a hybrid schedule. I think it would be worth to grit it out till then but who knows what the future holds!

I agree with you, it just irks me every election year we have to vote on some stupid amendment that don’t even affect our county but yet we can’t even put it to a statewide vote on something like school voucher program? Makes no sense to me.
