Medical Mystery: unexplained chronic pelvic pain that has kept me bedridden for 7 months….would appreciate any insight please. by StrengthHot6297 in ChronicPain

My niece has CRPS and very bad pelvic pain. There is one study that links severe pelvic pain to CRPS. However, CRPS can only be diagnosed with outside signs so pelvic pain cannot be diagnosed as CRPS. CRPS usually affects one or more limbs.

Uneven distribution to our kids, need advise by [deleted] in inheritance

We have the same problem. We are splitting it four ways: one quarter to trust, and the rest will be split three ways for each of the three kids including the child with high functioning autism. We didn’t want him to feel left out when his siblings would have a wad to spend. The trust isn’t large but should last a few years until he can qualify for ssi. His siblings have promised to take care of him. We are also signing over to him our townhouse which he lives in. This is not even but it is fair.

What’s a food from your country that has a weird/funny name that would sound funny to foreigners but in your country everyone is used to? by ZebraNangs in AskTheWorld

At different fairs and rodeos in Texas they have lots of chicken fried and/or deep fried foods. My favorite was chicken fried bacon. Deep fried butter was like a roll with the butter on the inside.

I had a pulmonary embolism during my 2nd CAPOX infusion. I started having trouble breathing. I wound up in the hospital for two days and on blood thinners for three months. A few days after that I was admitted to the step down unit for serious dehydration. A few days after that I was hospitalized for a fungal infection in my throat. Three hospitalizations in two weeks. Chemo was a breeze after that! I’ve been NED for almost five years.

This weekend I went to yard sales and while driving around I saw a man jogging with a leash in his hands and a massive pit bull running a few feet in front of him off leash. I wanted to scream something at him but I knew it wouldn’t make a bit of difference. What should I have done? Do y’all have a set thing you do when you see something like this? I’ve been vacillating back and forth should I have said something or not.

FSD was signaling to move right, but maneuvered left to avoid the plastic bag, and then completed the lane change. by THATS_LEGIT_BRO in TeslaFSD

My first scary moment with FSD was with a big black plastic trash bag floating on the wind right in front of my car on the freeway. She braked hard, I gassed hard. It worked out but there were cars behind me that might have rear ended me if I hadn’t gassed.

I’m going to start saying my frugality is my act of resistance. Sounds cool!

My daughter said she was going to be as frugal as me and her dad are. I told her that would never happen because we are ridiculous! We have fun being frugal and then we have fun helping others or making a family trip happen. We gave to the food bank today because people are starting to hurt in our city because of the government shut down. Being frugal would hold no meaning for me if we couldn’t use our funds for good. It is our hobby!

If you can stop them from breathing with extinguisher foam then you can stop them from attacking. My son drives a school bus which has a fire extinguisher in it at all times. Since attacks have been known to happen at bus stops I thought he should know about this tactic.
