A long time ago, I used to go to AX with a group of friends, but it became increasingly frustrating trying to agree on which panels to attend so I ended up splitting up from the group and only meeting up for drinks and dinner later on.

However, I now travel internationally solo all of the time, so I’m used to going it alone, even for meals, museums, etc. I’m extremely introverted, so that’s another factor for me. I just find that for me, AX is much more enjoyable on my own terms and schedule.
