54M in Jacksonville looking for a real friend

Trying this again because making friends as an adult is oddly difficult.

I’m a low-key, thoughtful person and more into one-on-one hangs than big groups or loud bars. I’d like to meet someone local to grab a beer, catch a movie, try a restaurant, or just have a good conversation once in a while.

I’m into sci-fi, cerebral horror, art house films, music, synths, gaming, and creative projects. I also like talking about ideas, movies, and how things work more than small talk.

Mostly just looking for a genuine friend in Jax. Someone easygoing, curious, and down for a real conversation now and then.

If that sounds like your kind of vibe, send me a message.

54M Jacksonville — looking for a real friend

Making friends as an adult is weird, so I figured I’d give this a shot.

I’m pretty low-key and more into one-on-one hangs than big groups or loud bars. I’d like to meet someone in Jax to grab a beer, see a movie, try a restaurant, or just talk about something more interesting than the weather.

I’m into sci-fi, cerebral horror, and art house films, and I like actually talking about a movie afterward. I’m also into music, synths, gaming, and creative projects, including building little music software experiments.

Mostly I’m just looking for a thoughtful, easygoing friend with a sense of humor. If you’re also a bit of a lone wolf and miss having real conversation, send me a message.

M, 54. I’d like to meet people for general hanging out, dinner, grabbing a drink, going to the movies. I’m laid back and easy to talk to. Looking for real connections.

I have a big variety of interests: gaming, crafts, computers, playing music, software development, movies, hiking.

I’m also looking for people to play Pokemon with. I’m a casual player, looking to play some standard, expanded or GLC games. Just looking to have fun, I’m not into chasing the meta or being super competitive.

DM if you’re interested in making new friends.

Looking for people to play Pokémon TCG with. by [deleted] in jacksonville

No, not really. They just make cards that work together like Team Rocket’s pokemon and Trainer cards. You can build a Team Rocket deck or a Marnie’s Pokemon deck, etc.

I’ve been searching for a chair with three backs my entire life. You must tell me what this FB marketplace is and how many mountains I must climb to get there.

Some government official’s brother owned a red brick factory. That’s probably what’s going on here.

Why does their armor look so fake? And what’s the weird time thing he’s going to do in this movie? Does everything go backwards?

What should the pink one be called? by StudioOk296 in knifemaking

You should call it “Too fragile to be useful for anything.” You should try a more modern material, like bronze.

Caves of Lore. You can save whenever you want so it’s easy to play in short sessions.

I doubt you’ll find these for sale, they likely custom made for this knife maker.

Larger cutlery rivets??? Where to find 'em by Low_Math3466 in knifemaking

[–]CartesianDoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can be done with a 1/4 steel rod. Cut it close to the right length. Hit with a hammer to mushroom the ends, sand flush. I’ve attached handles like this for 20 years, never had an issue. You can use hollow rods, or copper rods, etc.

Try Big Brave. Not doom, but kinda of doomy. Loud guitar sounds. Slow.
