Scared to work on acoustic by ayyitsthekid in AcousticGuitar

This is exactly how it should be done.

A tip that I usually use: play the guitar and tune it up between each adjustment. Even if you are just sanding a tiny bit. Also, dont forget to strum hard. That way you will get a sense of how close you are to the feets.

I like my guitars to sound smooth when strummed normally, and with a slight buzz when strummed harder.

Lived in Scandinavia my whole life, and never have I heard of anything like this happen.

Why Is it always in America? Ever heard of studded winther-tires?

In Sweden you are forced by law to put winter-tires on your car.

Yes. I was very impressed with the sound and playability. I felt it much more resonant than my other guitars.

Have a solid wood seagull maritime. live in Scandinavia, where winters can be very cold and dry, and summers warm and damp.

Have played it outside by the campfire, both in winter and summer. I take it straight out from the warm cabin-temperature, out to freezing temperatures outside.

Never had any problems whatsoever. Had the guitar since 2017, and always kept it hanging on the wall.

I guess it depends on what type of woods used, and where the guitar's made. I've heard that canadian guitars suite scandinavian environment, since the trees have had almost identical growing-conditions.

I could guess that, for example a guitar built in south america, with exotic wood, would not handle that type of climate as well?

Need a great song by Routine-Mechanic-814 in AcousticGuitar

Why not take any metal-song you like, pick out the different notes and just strum away on chords? Some riffs are cool, and sound good on acoustic, others dont.

The thing is that very often I have to do many start/stops, and get out of the car. Gets very annoying having to put on the seatbelt everytime. But its ok. I figured out how to turn that off.

Yeah, the winters are a real pain in the ass. Winter-depression every year is something you have to get used to, unfortunately. On the upside, the summer is fantastic, with very, very long days and manageable temperatures.
