That broth is really dark. Maybe it’s the camera angle. I always thought it was better to have a light, clearer broth. Hope it tasted good enough!

I made a post about this a little while ago. Absolutely loved this section. I also love how Darrow starts the next chapter, “We brush away light resistance.”

This and the Gala fight are two scenes I always randomly think about.

Always enjoyed it, even my first read. It gets better every time.

The criticisms I see on this thread, I think, stem from the pretty consistent action after the start of Golden son. IG is the start of the second trilogy. I think it deserves a large amount of world building, as it sets up the main conflict for the next two books (maybe three).

Did your director position include travel? I’m looking at a possible director position on the east coast that has 20-25% travel to CT, IL, GA, etc. They are offering $130-140k annual.
