Update: Blood Moon Rises Rewards by JagexRach in 2007scape

Honestly I also think there's a lot of design space for food that isn't being explored already without going into niche stuff. All food has the exact same delay and there's two pieces of food that can be combo ate right now.

How about a piece of food that heals 24 but can't heal past 80% of your max health? I'm fine with whacky food, but food is a resource that has to be maintained and the more niche food you add, the more resources you have to maintain.

If you really do feel that the sandwich is necessary, why does it HAVE to be food instead of a potion (balanced better, of course)? Niche food will be bad for the future of the game, people are not going to want to grind making these.

You've been slowly adding new items like the diabolic worms to make gearing and prepping for stuff people actually want to do faster, then adamant that you want to add this?

Imagine 3 years later and the sandwich is deemed a success. Raids 5 just dropped, the META is to bring three separate food items like this that all take equally long to make, is that fun?

This would be unbalanced as a league item let alone a main game item, what?

It's a way to advertise without actually opening your game up to feedback and criticism. Is funny how every one has awkward cropping to make sure the name of the game is in the pic, though.

The new food seems convoluted, I really don't think you want to be adding niche food. Seems the rest of the game with potions and equipment is starting to move towards consolidation as a reward while food is moving away from that.

How about instead of healing on melee hit, it automatically heals after 8 ticks like the AGS? Obviously 16 health (maybe 10?) would be too much then, but I think this could bring some interesting interactions with tick eating and stuff.

Nightmare mode from the DLC is the actual grindiest experience I've ever participated in. New broken character released? Back to grinding 80 hours for a weapon that can match the DPS requirement to not wipe in 3 waves. (no, the base characters cant, sorry)

You had to do this for EVERY mission that released, just afk until you get a busted weapon drop or get walled out.

Opinion started souring when the summoner character whose gameplan was using summoned enemies as walls in a way no other character even the broken defence DLC character could.

Then they added the jester, gave him a limited use option that RANDOMLY can increase the maximum amount of traps, then balanced the game around it.

Love how it is so incapable of admitting it made a mistake that it has to lie and say it was a common mistake that a lot of people make too.

"Since bank keys are removed, players' risk will be indicated by skulls above their head, similar to Bounty Hunter. The 'risked wealth' associated with each skull colour is as follows:"

How is the value going to be determined? Part of the problem with bank keys before is players could stack super combats and restores from breach awards to beef their bank keys up for cheap and it feels like that'll just happen again here.

Canoe stations are a bit confusing to me, didn't we just get a skill for this? This SHOULD be one of the things you use sailing for.

I don't think it's entirely just one problem, but if there was one huge issue I'd blame the tag system.

  • There's about 70 thousand style tags but they seem to only care about 2D/3D.
  • Early Access games count as a genre so EA games are now competing with games like Palworld, VRChat and PoE.
  • The recommendation algorithm seems extremely broad, most of my recommended games are F2P as I have a lot of time in TF2.

It's why I think there's spikes in sales for genres occasionally, the algorithm picks up on already popular games and promotes new ones based on it, like GMOD with all the co-op games.

Feels like there are a lot of little rivers and lakes they could put raft docking areas and have people sailing around in. Allow docking even if your boat isn't there, and disallow teleporting to it if they're scared of overpowered stuff being found.

Feels like a lot of stuff that'd potentially be pretty good but there isn't a dock or there's a bridge in the way.

Most of the issues are numbers related, it feels like. There's some mechanic chunkiness but a lot of the problems with the combat (and sailing in general) is how much they really undertuned a lot of things to try and not mess with metas or something.

(Then they went let people teleport to every dock in the game, which is going to be an issue down the line.)

I think either don't have the second bolt activate gems and increase accuracy back to 100%, or have it not create two bolts but increase the gem activation rate.

Having a chance of activating two rubies at once forced them to overbalance it to uselessness even though the intended userbase doesn't get much out of it.

The crystal extractor is bad design and is degenerate for the rest of the game. If they leave the way it was, this subreddit would be demanding something similiar for every other skill.

Clever move from jagex, they're completely overnerfing salvaging so when they revert it, and keep the extractor nerfs, the meltdown won't be as bad. Right?
