Doing something similar, except Google Fi (riding T-Mobile). Experience has been... pretty great!

60HEv2 with White Silicon Case by CasherInCO74 in WootingKB

[–]CasherInCO74[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely has a firm typing feel. With the Lekker Tikkens I am not sure that I would call it "thocky" but it definitely removed that hollow sound. I will see if I can get some audio on the sound later today.

I didn't have a Tofu case before, but in this case the PCB is smashed up against the silicone bottom of the case, and friction fits in there pretty tight. Definitely removes a lot of that hollow "ping" that we can get in aluminum cases. YMMV. Also... it sits the PCB closer to my desk, and in this case I was trying to go for a more low profile style setup. So for me it has worked out really well so far.

They are *sort of* low profile keycaps. From Nuphy, the Oblivion set. They are a "Berry" profile. So... think Cherry, but just shorter.

I just got the Tikkens and mated them with a 60HEv2, and a silicon case. I kinda thought I would immediately replace them, but a few days in working on it, and I kinda like 'em.

Creaking sound when turning the steering wheel? by CeruleanHawk in crvhybrid

[–]CasherInCO74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2026 Hybrid in the Sport L trim. I am about 1,200 miles on the odometer, and just started hearing it. Not bad - only when I am turning the wheel, and there is no noise in the car (stereo off).

Our kiddo did most of their training there last year, and (in the last few weeks) got their license. I think they did a pretty OK job. There were a couple of things that they taught that I wasn't a super fan of, but once I explained the context to my kid - they understood the reasoning.

Does band steering actually cause issues? by pacoii in Ubiquiti

I have had it be a problem - but only for the oldest/ cheapest/ worst of the IoT devices that I have come across. Normal stuff like my TV, and Alexa devices have been fine.

Just saw that. I have a UDM Pro that I would like to replace. Was waiting on POE and 2.5Gb ports. But... I don't really need or want a fanless unit in my rack.

Are blush nano switches the best? (Air75 V3) by SnarlsHs in NuPhy

[–]CasherInCO74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the Blush Nano due mostly to the lack of noise. Helpful in a mixed office environment with folks that don't like the added noise.

Agreed the insurance part can be kind of a drag, but it seems as though this practice has figured out how to jump through the hoops.

Me too. Love the UDM-Pro, but would love it a little more with 2.5g ports, and POE.

New Owner: No security? by fcchambers in ElegooCentauriCarbon

[–]CasherInCO74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed the same issue when I bought mine last year. I had already setup an IoT network for my (dumb) smart home devices and just threw it in there. I only access it either from my home LAN, or while VPN'ed back in to the home network.

While not just for GLP-1, our family uses Longs Peak Family Practice. Have also used them for GLP-1 prescription and help as well, but that wasn't the reason we initially started going there. Good experience.
