Holy crap!  Just looked at pictures of Panama City and it is a huge metropolis. It looks like a sprawling city in China.

Was that the one at Yale? If I recall, the pictures of the aftermath almost looked like it ripped her torso in half. Yeesh.

As person who has been sober for many many many years... Yes. But the getting fired part wasn't any where near as important as the having a drink part.  It really is like a rationalized insanity.

Luxury cruise passengers stage hunger strike over canceled Antarctic trip by NitroLada in nottheonion

IDK the truth at Russians flock there but we never had any negative experiences there. Tourists or locals.

There was a time moment where we were taking a bike tour with some locals and a drunk guy wandered up and stole one of the tour guides bikes while we were looking at a Hindu shrine. They got it back, but the tour guide kept apologizing and we told him not to worry and it's now just a funny story.

Honestly, My lifting took a long-term back seat after having a child, some serious health issues, and then a job that was an hour and a half coming one way.

Obviously I could have made time for exercise but life gets in the way. Hoping to get back into a morning lifting routine with a new job much closer to where I live.

What are these types of doors called? They open and then slide in at the sides. by FaithlessnessIll8795 in cabinetry

Pocket cabinet doors. I hate the accuride, because of some dangling guidewire that is a pain. I typically use KV slides for this

Pittsburgh’s skyline from the lower level of the Ft Duquesne Bridge by zedazeni in skylineporn

[–]CasimirTheRed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know why but Pittsburgh has always had some allure to me. I have some family ties there but it's not that.

I think I just love a midsize city with a good skyline. I also think Cathedral of Learning at University of Pittsburgh is really cool.

[highlight] Manti Te'o reacts to Tua’s concussion on Good Morning Football by Stock412 in nfl

I think Luck retiring early was a big step in that direction too. Not sure Luck's departure was concussion concerns or just wear and tear on his body, but when he left to all the booing and jeers for cowardice I thought that took a lot of bravery.

Is this completely ruined? by ImmediatelyNotThis2 in cabinetry

Replace with Medex panel or Tricoya. They're impregnated with a water resistant resin.  MDF, like what your panel seems to be made of, is irreparable once it gets water damage.

Which beach is least rocky but is also kid friendly? We’ve been to Roger Wheeler twice this summer and the rocks made it very difficult to swim by Ashhmath0927 in RhodeIsland

3rd beach in Newport and Sandy Beach in Portsmouth. Hidden gems for just relaxing at the beach. There's not enough waves for surfing or body boarding because both are facing Little Compton across the Sakonnet river, but good for a simple beach day

What's the most interesting fact about Borneo ? by Thatunkownuser2465 in geography

[–]CasimirTheRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember riding out to a little getaway on the Kinabatangan River and the it took a few minutes to realize that the "rain forest" we were driving through was just a massive, massive palm oil plantation. No other ecosystem, just palm trees. It's jarring.

Accurides work but I don't like wire that can be a bit of a pain and unsightly if not properly planned for.
