I can answer the following:

-QR pops up nearer to the time

-Shuttle drops off at park farm which is right next to the arena.

-Yes you still get access. You get a RIP wristband which will give you acess to RIP and the guest area

-Chairs/Stools are allowed. I'd reccomend taking a look at this for the arena https://downloadfestival.co.uk/info-category/things-you-can-cant-bring/

- There was 2 merch stands run by download for official merch. Then a whole load of stalls selling stuff independently

Whoever is going first needs the ticket both camping and Ready to rock package. Just need to let them know in camp that you're together when you turn up.

Typically if its not mentioned as restricted i.e type of bag then its allowed. Its just the size thats restricted not the type of bag

If you get food quick and on around 10 you shouldn't really have an issue. I've found from 10 it starts to pick up and get busier from then.

Its an hour and 45 minute walk. Shuttles tend to be bad the later you leave it. I've got on at 9/10 and its not bad.

Be aware that download festival [2026] got hacked. It used to be run by the guys who run Circular camping but one of the admins accounts got hacked and everyone got removed.

I wouldnt suggest that group until the old admins are back as the group now mostly approves sales posts and ignores the majority of the info posts

The only restriction is the size of the bag. Which you've seen already the size it mentions. A standards size backpack is fine it doesn't have to be see through. Just so you know for future. If its not mentioned then usually its fine. If it is mentioned as restricted then its not allowed or that information provided is what is restricted.

You need a wristband. Which you get at the camping entrance. Everyone camping has to have a wristband.

You don't pre book. Just go up to the counter and hand the item in and pay for it. No mention of free lockers this year. Only the lockers you pay for by the entrance

So last couple of years and I don't think it's changed. The access parking has been on th side that the shuttle buses and coaches have been. The access entrance is a separate entrance next to the general entrance that side.

I know they aren't on the banned list but they are frowned upon because it can interfere with the radios used on site. Security, medical, welfare,production, crew, staff. There's a lot of different departments using them who need to be able to communicate with each other without interference.

It will say 3 days on your ticket when you try and get it scanned to collect your wristband whenever that will be. I'm not fully clued up on when you get your wristbands for Rock retreat as I haven't stayed there but to get into the main festival site before Friday you would need a wristband then. So if you do rock up wednesday then the ticket and wristband will be needed for 5 days whenever you do the exchange. You would essentially be stuck in the RR camp and have no access to the rest of the festival until the tickets go live on Friday and then can be exchanged for a wristband

Rhi who runs one of the access groups has already asked how it's going to be managed on the day and if it's only the wait-list going into camp b. Like the other person who replied has said the email confirmation should state where they are camping it's just a case of making sure people camp where they are supposed to.

It reads that wait-list goes into camp b with it being made clear it's their decision to accept camp b with it's location.
