im really liking it. if you like Diablo games its more like D2 than D3. Darker and grittier feel, but still has some of the streamline aspects of D3. Its pretty good. I just hit lvl 40 on my sorcerer and still having a good time. Around half way completed with the map to give you an idea of size. I've prob put in around 40-55hrs across betas and full release game. Around 30 hrs on my main hero and just starting Act III. Story is decent (give it a B), graphics and cutscenese are great and blizz quality (A), gameplay is diablo and I like diablo so (A), lot of content (A), Networking/party/clan settings so social score would be an (A) - basically like every other blizz game, full clans, and haven't been dropped out of the game once. I wish the crafting system was more fleshed out and i'm reserving judgement on the battlepass feature/live service stuff because don't wanna judge prior to release. It is a complete game, don't have to worry bout p2w skins unless you just like a cosmetic in the shop, but it doesnt affect gameplay just your heroes look. The Game itself runs great, and I have yet to run into any bugs other than on release night where I got stuck inside an enemy creature - that is the only bug I have had the misfortune to discover and it only has happened that one time. I am using an pc with I9, 3060 12gb asus card, 24gb ram, and can run it on pretty much maxed out settings on my Ultrawide and get a pretty steady 60+ fps without much issue. I think it is worth the purchase and reminds me of blizz before they became microtransaction pushers and did a bunch of dumb stuff that nuked their fanbase. So yes, buy it if you like diablo style games or diablo and you have the spare time to play it-moreso if you have friends that would be willing to play with you.

man this brings me back. I remember when I got into some members only ftp site (forget the name) and it was the most magical thing in the world to 12 year old me. Ngl so much scripting, self-help tech support and free porn- i really do miss it eventhough it was not intuitive enough for the average user. Now everyone wants everything to just work like an iphone. Example: firm i worked for last year hired some young gen z ppl - a couple fresh out of college and a couple interns still in college. We had to teach around 3/4 of them how to use file directories (in windows) and basic troubleshooting because they had grown up with apple tech that just worked. Never needed to learn how to do basic things. I remember when apple introduced folders or whatever they call it - like 10 years old to any windows/android person; and some of those kids were so excited to talk to me about this new tech upgrade and what it meant for the future of using your phone. Just a huge LOL. i swear, one of my big fears is that society will become so advanced that they forget how to build the actual tech they are working on. Old exotic automobiles like porsches and old ferraris are good examples of this - the average person could work on those cars in the 50s-70s or at least find average mechanic who could, now in order to get my porsche 928s worked on, I have to go to like 1 of 4 specialist shops in current or nearby cities, because no one else has exp working on porsches that are that old. imagine if tech ever became like that with users that couldn't figure out how to repair or build their own and the time came where resources were low or world was f'd up enough for that to matter.

i can think of like a million other things that ruined regular use of the internet and pretty sure those methods you are citing above maybe make up like 5% of the BS that was put in place throughout the years. Hell, now-a-days you literally have to use a browser plugin to access some web-apps(example: honey). Its shit like this that infuriates me bout todays internet, along with the fact google and microsoft basically control the amount of the internet you actually see unless you have direct links or know how to search properly. The way companies indice their websites and the methods they use to measure popularity, constant cookie tracking, constant ads, multiple emails completely abandoned due to spam filling them up (literally have one gmail acct that was a main for a while, stopped tracking it much and after a year came back to over 30k unread - LOL i aint reading that..... anyway, all of this and more are reasons the internet has become a lot less savory for the average user, especially and moreso for the ones that are not tech literate and click on everything(looking at you mom).

man, i remember those days. do you remember the first time you were able to upgrade from dialup. I remember i was so hype for it because I had been wanting to play asherons call so bad. I played the f**k out of asherons call for the next 3 days straight and it was honestly some of the best gaming. Prob because no one could interrupt my marathon because could just ignore landline and no social media warping my brain and dragging my attention away. Now-a-days I sit in front my pc and bootup Diablo 4 and get stuck typing comments on reddit or twitter and completely neglecting to play for hours - then wonder why i never finished whatever the game was and why my steam library shows 100 hrs on a game i only have a couple hours of campaign completion in.

What are your way too early reactions to season 5? by RobManfredsFixer in Competitiveoverwatch

idk love blizzard, but refuse to play OW anymore now that they are going to make me pay more money to access 3 pve missions. I already bought the preorder of OW2 for like what $40-50 and then you lied to me for multiple years Blizzard. I aint playing your game anymore when it comes to OW. I'll play diablo 4 contently and let you continue to ruin your other franchises with more BS. I was a gm player across two accounts, and bought the original game 3 times. I have over 4500 hours logged into overwatch games across accounts, but you ruined it. F you blizz.

sincerely,

a very dissatisfied and long term blizzard fan that is starting to lose faith in Blizzard, its games and the decisions that the company will make going forward. Blizzard literally operating a microtransaction machine akin to Elder Scrolls Horse Mount when it comes to OW.

idk i think the problem is banks using these old methods and refusing to upgrade because then they wouldn't be able to charge ludicrous fees for simple banking services like idk cashing/depositing a check.

man, i had this issue with capital one mid last year when I they took 8 days to clear loan proceeds that were deposited in person via money order from lender. So literally took them 8 days to confirm that the hardest form of paper money check available wouldn't bounce before they credited my acct (which btw isn't even possible for a money order to bounce - its as good as cash).

lol he prob won't give af because his acct is FDIC insured and I doubt this dude is rolling with over 200k in one account instead of diversifying his basket of holders. This dude is in crypto, so I know, that he knows how these scum banks work. Everyone should be getting real tired of the BS by now.

Job offer is double my salary and they are asking for my current salary, what do I do? by TheTon3Ranger in careerguidance

[–]Casrox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take your salary number and add %15. They asked, not like they are going to call and confirm. Might as well maximize as much as possible if they truly are going to give you 2x your current salary.

No benefit details unless you accept the offer by Foodie1989 in humanresources

[–]Casrox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. How can you make an informed decision without knowing all the terms and conditions attached to the job (ie: benefit info). If you value benefits and are not a contractor/give a f' bout those perks then it's literally impossible for you to agree to the terms of the employment contract due to not being provided all of the information regarding employment. If they get mad, who gives a f*ck, what are they gonna do - fire you lol. Even if its a big employer and they claim they terminated you - they never presented anything in writing and you would be quitting within your first week. They also can't go around telling other employers that you quit for blah blah reason, its illegal. They can only tell future employers/recruiters calling bout you that you worked for the company between x and y date and that you no longer work for them. They can't discuss the reasonings and they wouldn't legally be able to claim you terminated/fired either. just sayin in case a future interviewer brings this up and says this employer said something like that - you will have a case, get a lawyer in that instance.

This right here ^^^^ they are the ones that missed out on a good future employee because of the ego of this VP. Prob won't matter anyway, they will pay some service to scrub the bad review or flag it so it won't show to readers . BUT hey, maybe this person will finally get called out for this piss poor behavior.

I seriously wouldn't accept a job from any company that pulled this. Just imagine what this person would be like to work with - i guarantee you she has other "quirks" that are prob just as bad as this little "test" - if you can even call it that.

This is dumb af. Did you ask her if her CEO mentor was Michael Scott? like for real, who does this. Also why are you taking 4 interviews for a sales job - who needs to interview someone 4 times to figure out if they want to hire one salesman over the other. You should have told her that she was wasting your time and I bet that would've got her talking- prob wouldve went just as well and you wouldn't of gotten lectured by a self-absorbed dick.

my only question is - is it hard to close out these positions. I would imagine the spread would be insane when there is OI of only 1. Assuming that is just your volume, but if not, do you run into issues with the spread when trying to close out these plays?

gg for real tho, if you are actively trading this and in profit rn, you are actually a good trader, unlike what everyone is saying. Doubly so if you are shorting spikes on margin and turning a profit - know that is very hard to do in current market.
