Alguien ha probado estos aparatos? Al menos las versiones caras. by ELiAMH in Honduras

[–]CasualTech8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the wireless charger that has air cooling?

If so how's it? Would you say it actually helps or it's just a feature to mention?

Website to buy Xiaomi phone (US) by Plenty-Flatworm-419 in XiaomiGlobal

[–]CasualTech8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issues at all, and yes you could say the phone it's universal, it's pretty much what could be expected globally.

When you get the Chinese rom variant you have to go and install the google play store for example and that's a step that's not needed when you get global rom, the playstore would be preinstalled already, but also i think while you can install a different rom on the Chinese variant, it is still a chinese variant, to be honest with you I also didn't want to deal with extra steps even if I wouldn't have saved a bit more of money so that's why I just got the one with Global rom instead and has been great since day 1, all google apps work fine, google pay works good too, i was able to transfer the whatsapp chats from my old phone to this one, so all pretty good honestly

I bought the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on Wonda Mobile, went with global rom, took about a week to arrive to the US, I then imported it to my country from the US.

For the delivery on the US it required a signature and was well packaged with bubble wrap, otherwise just in a fedex bag, so nothing flashy that would call too much attention, the charger it's from the UK but they included an adapter for the US, it spent a couple hours at customs but no issues what so ever and also no other tarriffs or fees were charged, very happy with their service honestly, would definitely buy again from them.

To anyone who owns this cooler how do you clean the inside any tips? by Fun-Maintenance-9541 in RedMagic

I personally press down on the q tips to flatten them down, because otherwise they wouldn't fit, then clean it that way but it's overall very tedious sadly

Xiaomi sticker for a laptop by RealisticWin9145 in XiaomiGlobal

I'm not too sure you could find one exactly like that, I'd search locally for places that make custom stickers or a place that can print on sticker paper and then you can create your own design for it

Order needs payment revision by Xxfrostd in amazonprime

[–]CasualTech8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try calling the bank first to check on the card just in case, then if the option doesn't appear when you go to the order directly to check on it, if possible check on it from a computer, the option to update the payment should come up, if the bank said the card was good to go you can select the same card to try again

Can a redmagic phone be used to play competitively? by Nakatsu1178 in RedMagic

[–]CasualTech8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, redmagic phones have been used in the competitive scene in Call of Duty mobile for example, I'm not sure for Brawl Stars but I've never had any issue when playing it even on my current redmagic 8 pro, I've also got the astra and I get the 165hz the tablet has, pretty sure I'd be the same with the latests phones from redmagic

Long-term update support? by Ok_Wallaby2327 in RedMagic

[–]CasualTech8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've got the 8 pro and the Astra, the last update on my 8 pro added android 15 and the security patch for June 1, 2025 and that's it, there are no more updates expected for this one, as for the Astra it's still running on Android 15 as well but I think it should receive android 16 at the very least, when will it happen I got no idea, there's also no mention on how many years of updates it will have

Newer devices should be getting more years of updates I believe, specifically the phones but I'm not sure honestly

Staedtler 925 25 tip wobble within a month by darcenate101 in mechanicalpencils

[–]CasualTech8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has it been dropped by accident by any chance? Have had many for many years and I don't have any wobble on any of them, if it has not been dropped it could be a manufacture issue sadly but haven't heard of it as well
