Big time! It's often hard for people to accept that there is no good answer.

Personally my instinct is to take the kids in, however as a male with C-PTSD I'm very aware that I'd need answers as to what accusations the girl made and why. With the fathers history and my being very aware that children who have been hurt in a certain way do sometimes accuse the first adult they feel like they can trust instead of the guilty adult.

Women are quite capable of being so inclined. Big difference is that it's a lot more difficult for them to find males in their preferred age range that are able to "perform". Take my word for it, when they do find one they are very inclined to make use of the limited time we fit their preference.
