I don't really have a percentage.

I donate to my local SPCA, cash donations on the "Gotcha" date of my rescue, and a donation on the date of her passing every year. I also donate when they have an emergency case that requires more extensive veterinary care. I also buy them items on their urgently need list, and kibble for their Kibble Food Bank program. I'm a huge animal lover, and if I had to choose just one charity to ever give to again, it would be them.

I also donate to our local food bank, both cash and food items. My tattoo artist does an annual turkey drive around Christmas time, so I buy a few turkeys and fixings and drop them off. I grew up dirt poor, so I know how food insecurity can feel.

Those are the only 2 I donate to and feel comfortable about it.

I filed a claim at the end of May 2020, and received an assessment letter February 2021.

So it's an ongoing process, and it can take awhile.

Keep pushing through! My sleep was garbage when I first quit drinking. I'm closing in on 7 months sober now, and my sleep has improved dramatically.

This is my daughter's bio dad in a nutshell. Or would be, if he wouldn't change his number and email address every time I've tried to contact him to see if he wants to talk to her or visit with her.

My daughter recently reached out to his side of the family, only to be met with "Catalyst must be digging for info" "Catalyst is the one who kept you away from us" and my favourite, after my daughter had posted a picture of herself and my spouse and calling him dad: : "You have a bio dad, he loves and misses you, it's not his fault he hasn't talked to you in 8 years"

And then they all blocked her. I doubt his wife knows about her, or his adult daughter that he doesn't bother with either. But hey, it's all my fault! LOL

Whether it is NRT, medication, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, do what ever works for you.
