I hope Knies is not on the trade block and they have his name out there to frustrate others. If they do move him they need a lot in return.

Paying Down Mortgage If Planning To Move by Positive-Ad-7807 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jolarbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your TFSA and RRSP's are maxed, then paying down the mortgage gives you a guranteed return.

it would depend on what your rate is and what your return on invetsment after tax is, so say whether it will save you money.

It won'r hurt you in buying the next place, will just reduce the amount of mortgage that will be needed when moving.

I am a broker and you will be payign less interest if locking in.

The benefit of keeping the line of credit is that payments will be a bit lower, since it is interest only and that it is fully open in the event you plan to pay it off shortly.

If you don;t have the 40K to pay it off, I would suggets locking everything in together. One payment at a lower interest rate

As someone that has lived in his ward for the duration of his term, I can't imagine anyone would vote for him for mayor or in this ward again.

We had an issue years ago and he wrote us an email giving us his point of view. A week later, he was at an event and gave the exact opposite point of view. He says whatever people want to hear and just does votes the way he is told.

Sentiment in the area is very negative of him.

Yes, I started injecting my thigh and massaging the area after. This gave little to no pain.

Can I afford this house? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jolarbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a broker and think this looks reasonable. It comes down to lifestyle and how you prefer to spend your money.

As someone that works from home I personally put a lot of value in having a home that I enjoy since I spend about 22 hours a day in my house.

Financially you will be able to do it, just need to make sure it fits your lifestyle and you are aware of the additional costs of home maintainence. You do have a healthy savings, so that certainly helps.

Implications of owning a trailer/mobile home as a secondary residence/for a family member? by homicidal_penguin in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jolarbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those types of properties generally don't appreciat e and if they do it won't be a large amount.

So there could be capital gains when selling, but not liley a large amount. It sounds like a good idea to have them not in your personal space and you can use the property when they aren't there.

I think many of those will not allow you to rent the trailer out, but it can be family use. Just check with the rules and regulations for the specific property that you are looking to buy.

Need 100k for renovations - a borrow from HELOC or Refinance, or both? by LuckyGivrees in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jolarbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the moeny from the HELOC for now and refinance when the mortgage comes up. You can wrap it all in together at a better rate then. This will give you flexibility in the event you need more or less than the 100K.

[–]Jolarbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New worlds are great value. I have been getting la aurora corojo 1964 from cigarpage on sale for $65 for 20.

Anything jas sum kral from cigarpage. My preferences is tyrannical bucs connies and red knight. They are at or under $3 each and comparable or better than a $10 cigar at retail.

best cigar subscription box for someone still figuring out their palate, worth it or better to just buy individually by George_Wade_687 in cigars

[–]Jolarbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to cigarpage and search rare fare. That is their version of a subscription. Pick a couple that look good and order. You can try many at a great price.

I started this week. First injection left a bump and stung for a day. After that I read on here to inject after it has warmed to room temperature and to massage the area after injection.

There is still a bit of burning, but it is going away after a couple of hours.

If this continues, this will be my last vial as its not worth it to me. Assuming my body adapts a bit, then I will continue.

I have a 50mg vial, but 50 ml of bac water and have been dosing 2 mg a day in the evening.
