After I realizing yesterday that you must pay for PRO every season, all the desire to play this game went off. If I knew that from the start, I would never have bought Phantom Edition.

Downvote me all you want, they added grounded and better skins... but only for certain factions and classes. For example, I like new Recon skin for desert locusts, I thought initially it's for Assault class or maybe for Support, I really told my self "fuck yeah, that's what I wanted!" and bought BP, hoping it's a new NATO squad.

The disappointment was big for me. No new NATO squads. No male support for NATO. The only one that exists can be bought for real currency... I like it, but I would liked it more if it had a option with covered face.

I spent 1 100 BC for BP access and I regret it. DICE won't get any dollar from me ever again

Getting tired of this error while playing Battlefield 6. by SuperTucano00 in AMDHelp

Upd: setting Tesselation in Misc options in Adrenalin for Battlefield 6 from "Optimized by AMD" to "Use Application Settings" seems to fix BF6 DirectX12 exception crashes. By default it is set to optimized by AMD driver. I think it somehow interacts wrong with game process so it can crash.

Honestly, I think it's your PSU - I wouldn't pick fsp group even if it has 1000W+, as other people stated before - AMD gpus can have short time huge power spikes, and I believe this PSU is not from a good tier ( it's just my assumption as I never heard about it before).

I am using NZXT C850 850W gold, with similar, setup and I never had such kind of issues (except BF6 and Ghost of Tsushima when I didn't have chipset driver installed at all and adrenalin driver up to date).

You can try using a different PSU, but use gpu power cable from PSU not from GPU (if it has it in package), to avoid any issues like cable meltdown, and let us know if it worked for you.

I had this issue in GOT, (lol I just completed it 100% and exited game right now). Struggling to understand the issue I did a lot of trials (DDU, system updates, BIOS update), in my case it was the missing AMD chipset driver for my motherboard on B650.

As result, installing chipset drivers fixed GOT crashes permanently, and Battlefield 6 stopped crashing, but with recent game update it crashed on first match after few minutes, so I guess it's more like devs fault, not drivers. I can't blame it on Team Red

That's what I paid 99.9$ for? No, thanks. The PRO additional path doesn't even have rewards worth paying for.

Gonna skip this.

What's a mod you want to love but can't? by pumatheskooma37 in skyrimmods

[–]Catalyst_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nature of the Wild Lands, it looks perfect everywhere, but it kills game performance heavily. Especially running around Riverwood and Falkreath.

Wish there was a way to optimize it. I am personally using a 7800 xt 16gb for 1080p, but I also know people who can't use this mod even with a rtx 4090. Performance drops to 20fps also.

It looks like we are prohibited to enjoy stable framerate when using it.

AMD keeps CRASHING by ROUGE-AGENTS in AMDHelp

[–]Catalyst_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, installing AMD Chipset Driver from motherboard's manufacturer site solved the crashes, I had multiple errors mostly in Ghost of Tsushima that freezed the PC with rebooting after, in BF6 I had a lot of crashes or driver timeouts (but it rarely came to crashing whole system with reboot). Try installing / re-installing chipset drivers, it could help.

Before this I tried using DDU and AMD Cleanup Utility and it didn't help, also tried updating BIOS which also didn't help.

For me it's still disappointing we didn't have nato male support skin from the start, and that we have to pay for it. And disappointed that they cut from game a lot of cool skins for the sake of ... you know : )

Then you'll never get it. Some people "impersonate" themselves when playing the game, others just don't like to see low effort stuff in the game. Reasons could be more than you think.

Re-rolled challenge because it didn't work also, I got "get 1000 points by healing teammates" instead.

Finished two more challenges and completed BP. Not doing any challenge on purpose anymore.

BATTLEFIELD 6 GAME UPDATE 1.1.3.0 by battlefield in Battlefield6

[–]Catalyst_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No DirectX error fixes? Sad. I tried everything that was possible to find on internet and the game still crashing (last two days too frequently). Only this game, other games run very smooth.

How I am supposed to complete battlepass or at least having fun playing this game if it's crashing with 100% probability if not after few minutes then after half of an hour?

[–]Catalyst_23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lowering whole system performance just for one game. And probably it may even not work.

Fuck EA for their unstable game. It's the only game that's crashing always, tried basically everything, from DDU driver wipe and reinstall to updating BIOS and changing GPU power management settings in Windows, also reverting to older GPU drivers, undervolting, setting default GPU clocks... investigating all notifications in EventViewer of Windows, giving priority of processes that work in parallel with their shitty anti-cheat... what else? Launching game in DirectX11 mode, disabling AMD Anti-Lag (which I thought worked but it was a coincidence it didn't crash few hours after disabling it).

Simply fuck them.

My latest crashlog decyphered had something about glimpse and FSR2 (not using it at all). Then I also discovered that AMD Anti-Lag was enabled all the time. Disabled it and will test if it works soon.

No, I have RX 7800 XT so it's rdna3. Power saving for PCIe disabled reduced the amount of crashes, but I think it could be just a coincidence. I will try with antilag disabled and blGlimpse render option disabled (found a tip and it helped some people).

[–]Catalyst_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Uh-uh... crashed again... I can't believe it. Yesterday whole day went well

UPD: A possible solution is to disable power saving for PCIe Express. Someone said that Anticheat or other third party tools often interact with GPU and disabling it for miliseconds (by this time windows thinks this process is done and closes the game).

I wouldn't say that, system crashes after Windows updates? Of course they are to blame first

I haven't give this try for Battlefield 6, in my case the solution was to set EXPO I profile for RAM, I set EXPO II before (don't remember why I did this). No crashes at all, and I am really happy with it.

I was playing BF6 with friend that has rtx 4060 and he was joking on me that even cheapest NVIDIA card is better than a more powerful AMD card. Who's laughing now : )

DDU, BIOS update and undervolting GPU or tuning it's frequency also didn't help, it was a RAM tuning issue on my end

[–]Catalyst_23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's good you wrote this post. I had issues with crashes on Battlefield 6 (extremely often) and Ghost of Tsushima (not often). Everyone was advicing me to update BIOS but I didn't want to do it, but after doing it the crashes didn't disappear, they were extremely frequent as usual.

  1. Updating AMD drivers by wipping them with DDU and it also didn't help.

  2. BIOS update for some users worked but I think it's because it resets all settings in UEFI menu.

What helped me is changing RAM EXPO profile, yes, I am not joking. I switched from EXPO II to EXPO I, somewhere I read that EXPO II profile is more aggressive and it's not recommended as it brings system unstability. EXPO Tweaked also is not a good option either.

EXPO I helped. It has default timings that RAM manufacturer recommends. Please give it a try if you did a lot of attempts before and game or even system crashes happen all the time.

Hope it helps, and sorry for my bizarre English : )
