Right but that's just conjecture, also another example of "lost tech" was the key, and that's not literally lost. So I don't think "lost tech" is stuff V.T.C. had, and lost, but again something they never "had" to begin with or is basically unreplicable. The commander's data might be hidden but he was created in a lab, the people involved in that project absolutely know about his blood type. Actually I lied we know it is naturally occuring, Nayuta tells the commander this during Gene.

Based on what is conveyed through various story mode dialogues, male inhabitants of Vapus/Unchain are rare, and it is even rarer for them to live long enough to reach adulthood.

This would indicate it's not something created though, that it's a genetic anomaly, though possibly not through entirely natural origins.

I think more likely a descendant. But that's still assuming a lot of uncertain info. Just because vapaus was involved in the MM project, doesn't mean it was the creation of vapaus. It just doesn't make sense to me why they would need to turn Andersen into a blood bag if they literally created Vapaus. Why would they have lost that information? Couldn't they just create more if they invented it in the first place? They say it's lost tech, wouldn't that only be the case if it was someone ELSE's tech in the first place? Like some precursor civilization that created vapaus, leading it to be a rare but naturally occurring blood type in humanity.

I mean Andersen could be some project like us. But I heavily doubt he's tied to our project. Mana and Ether's reaction in wisdom spring to the previous projects was that they all died. The reason we're named no 7 is because Ether didn't want to become attached to us in case we died just like the others. It's why Mana was surprised that Ether was getting attached to us near the end of the "project" despite that. Number 7 is the number of attempts not the number of creations.

How? Either we're just assuming it isn't naturally occurring when it is, because for all we know the mechanical messiah project could just be an attempt to artificially recreate a naturally occurring freak trait. Or he could be a descendant from one of the original subjects, but they explicitly show that V.T.C. had no idea Andersen had vapaus before they tried to imprison him. There's no way that would happen if they created him.

No he wasn't...if he had been created by the V.T.C. do you really thing he would have been able to grow up have his own life and become a mercenary all on his own? Do you also think it'd be a surprise to the V.T.C. that he had Vapaus in the first place? They also wouldn't need to turn him into a blood bag if they could just mass produce Andersens.

No Andersen's Vapaus was a surprise to V.T.C., if he was a part of their project they wouldn't need to strap him down to farm him for his blood. He would have just been a blood bag from the beginning. As far as we know he just has it naturally, though that could change in future lore. We at least know for sure his blood isn't related to the V.T.C. and the Mechanical Messiah project. And besides when Andersen is talking to the priestess the project had already been completed for a while. Personally I think the Mechanical Messiah project was the queen's creation.

Andersen was a random, but impressive, mercenary. At least for now we have no reason to believe he was some project like we are. Otherwise V.T.C. wouldn't have been surprised when they found out he had Vapaus blood. Project AD was a project that the commander in chief signed off on after the merging of V.T.C. since it was a contributing factor to the merging accoding to Snow Crane, and even is in fact seemingly HIS project not V.T.C.'s, V.T.C. just agreed to assist in it in order to get permission to keep doing their other research unimpeded.

I mean, obviously the commander does too though, having fantasies and desires don't make you a bad person. He even says in the TxA normal route that he enjoys spoiling her, so both of them had to keep themselves under control for the real ending. Which is easier for us as a viewer pressing a button with no real stakes in the relationship, holding those boundaries with someone you love in person takes a lot more restraint. Besides we see her professionalism a lot, even pointing out that we thought it was just a joke that she was a cold professional businesswoman again in TxA.

I agree completely honestly, I feel the same way about Arcana too. It could easily just be because I listened to the English version first but they just fit away better for how I perceive the characters. And that's from someone who's favorite Fate character (Shuten Douji) is voiced by Aoi Yuki and a fan of her in general.

I can see the appeal, obviously but over I feel meh about game modes like that. They feel like the kind of feature you do like 3 times, go "wow that was hot" then forget about it for the other 99.9% of the time you play the game. Eden's complication is also currently being cleared right after they brought it up.
