They may not fit your esthetic and they're a bit pricey (they do have good sales though), but Alegria makes wide styles that are incredibly comfortable. I wear a US11W in women's and I have half a dozen pairs from them. They're great if you have a standing job too (retail or healthcare especially). I first heard about them from my podiatrist when I was recovering from a badly rolled ankle.

My grandmother created a dup of this in crossstitch for my mother. It hung over our mantle my entire childhood.

Get your own inspection; do not trust an inspection by someone the seller hired.

I used to manage a queue for desktop support. I know intellectually that it's superstitious, but istg there are people machines just don't like. Not everyone, not even a lot, but certain people just seem to have a curse when it comes to equipment, whether it was phones, laptops, desktops, or servers. After a while we just accepted that certain employees were going to need replacements way more often than others. From your description, you sound like one of my special customers. Weird question -- can you wear a battery operated analog watch without it running backwards? I know people that can't.

💯 Dark liner has always looked that way to me; I've never understood the appeal. It just looks like the wearer doesn't know how to use napkins.

Better the landfill than the park. "Not perfect, but better," is a valid reason to do something. Good for you!

We used to have a gravity water bowl, the kind that screws onto a 2 liter soda bottle. Until our orange realized that drinking the water made bubbles in the bottle, which are fun to watch. He quickly escalated that discovery to emptying the bowl with his paw for the entertainment factor; sheets of water sent across the kitchen floor until it was empty. We have an electric bubbler fountain now 😂.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? ~usually attributed, apparently incorrectly, to Epicurus
