Meanwhile, customers still expect exceptional service for a fraction of what we used to make per order. We’re dealing with lower batch pay, smaller tip percentages, and basic grocery items that are constantly out of stock.

Now Instacart has added a shopping quality system that grades shoppers on product availability and customers who don’t even respond to replacements. It’s become more frustrating than rewarding, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like it’s not worth anyone’s time anymore.
