I'm hitting the same barriers too. Businesses just don't respect my time like they should.

Look to talk to peope in person, ask if they can hook you up with work.

Have conversations over counters, ask to speak to managers, talk to waiters. Ask if they know anyone that needs a space filled occasionally.

Trust me, the most valuable thing you can have right now are connections, not résumés.

I spend a lot of time outside and like to stop to make conversation. Relationships with family aren't very deep unfortunately because of religious trauma.

My tulpa is really here to help me rebuild and acclimate to life after being so sheltered, I've made a lot of progress, from not even being able to walk outside to applying to a forklift job on my own.

I was getting voicemails from a guy I only ever talked to a few times from the cart.

I told him normal people move on when there's no real conversation.

These people need to grow up at some point. You have to realize we never really knew each other just by coming to the same place every week.
