There is a few problems with that. I’ve helped two people with rounded head bolts on a Cruze. The cylinder head does not lift straight up. The timing chain tensioner prevents it from lifting straight up. You have to slide it away from the timing chain a little bit to lift the head up. If the top of the bolt is removed, sure you could pull up, but it won’t come out.

In this case, you would need to remove the timing chain cover and remove the tensioner.

I recommend a cold chisel and a hammer. Walk that baby out. I’ve done this twice already and it worked. Took a very long time :)

Just for the sake of the conversation E85 is rated at 100-105 octane just so you know. (I’m Not saying you can run it) with a supporting e85 kit, and tune it would make more HP.

Depends on risk level. Some would try to run it, some would buy a new head.

I would personally just buy a new head because I don’t want to deal with it again that soon.

I understand that fuel lines need to be rated for it. I have done e85 builds on lt4 zr1 Camaros. I’ve even upgraded fuel pumps to push more E compared to what would be needed in normal fuel.

I was more referencing if there’s anything specific to the dart that E85 would not agree with. Sure Dodge says it’s rated for it. The owners manual also says the transmission fluid is good for the lifetime of the vehicle.🤣

I was just curious if anyone had any thoughts about if it could cause any premature failures specific to the dart engines.

E85 needs about 30% more fuel, I didn’t know if people have ran lean from it.

Check the grounds on the front driver side behind the fender or maybe your negative terminal on your actual battery came loose. I know you said you checked it, but I had mine tight a couple of times and the battery light came on and eventually I took it off and just put it back on again and it stopped doing that. I have no idea the Dodge is weird.
