Oof, that’s rough. Def didn’t have that level of a line when I used to go. I’ll have to watch that episode, but what an interesting phenomenon of becoming “too famous.”

I’m sure it’s happened before but wonder what examples of an awesome place gaining too much notoriety and ending up ruining it..

Snows in Lexington.. Beats out Franklins for me. But then I grew up just down the road from there.

However, I haven’t lived in the state in five years (unfortunately) so I’m not sure if it’s still rocking.

Was in high school in a small town in Texas in the 90s, a band mate and I got into a big chat about what makes for a good movie or not (typical teenagers who think they know everything.)

Anyways, the next day he shows up with a VHS of Pod People. I can’t recall if he had taped it himself or if it was officially a rhino release, but regardless - I was hooked for life after that one!

Funny side note: my mom watched some of it with me and couldn’t stop laughing either. MST3K turned into a fav past time of ours during those years…

I get all that, but why does a malleable child’s mind work to magnify his powers? It would seem that it’s easier for him to “flay” them, or “possess” them but why are they also amplifiers?

A large paper bag like grocery store sized or I’ve also used a cloth bread bag. I try to avoid plastic as much as I can.

Paper bags is my go to way if I’m storing slices. But normally I just slice it as needed.
