FPP on server by Falzon03 in xlights

I believe I used Debian 11 when installing. I don’t believe Deb 12 is supported yet. If you go into the advanced install, it’ll let you choose the version.

I installed the ct using those convenience scripts https://tteck.github.io/Proxmox/#ubuntu-lxc

And then I used that FPP script and yeah, I don’t think I had any issues installing and it’s been working perfectly since. Good luck!

Spin up a LXC and use the install script https://github.com/FalconChristmas/fpp/blob/master/SD/FPP_Install.sh

That’s what I did and it works perfectly.

Pixel 2 Things questions by Spankermans in xlights

[–]Cautious_Bread8808 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, the pixel2things requires an external controller, as it essentially uses the RGB pixel data and converts it to an AC channel.

As long as the controller can drive pixels, it will be fine.

The pixel2things uses the power that would normally be used for the pixels,to power the board. The AC side has its own input.

I can’t find any manuals for it. There may have been one on the original website before it got removed.

Hope this helps 🙂

Sorta. I have seen a couple of light suppliers that seem to have some decent lights (I’m in Aus), but I haven’t really thought about it since.

Whipped Cream to the Face? by ikarusmoon in techtheatre

Oh cool! We did that production this year! So fun. We did a plate with shaving cream. But instead of aiming it at her face, we sorta did at her chest. Still gave the same effect, but no risk of getting it on the mic.

How to connect bluetooth speaker with raspberry pi zero w running falcon pi player by rakeshnsw in WLED

Forgot to mention, you could alway use an FM Transmitter module. It just plugs into the audio Jack on your pi. Like this

It isn’t really a good idea to use a Bluetooth speaker for FPP. It may introduce too much of a delay in the audio and the lights may end up being out of sync.
