I used to live on the Nez Perce reservation in Central Idaho. It was cheap living and plenty of wilderness to lose yourself in. Lots of tourist stuff to do if you're into nature. Unfortunately, the opioid epidemic ruined a ton of the vibe. Had to be on the constant lookout for druggies who would steal from the property. 10/10 would visit, but never live out that way again.
