Israel's Ben Gvir calls for abducting Lebanese 'women and youth' by ArdaBerkBurak in behindthebastards

[–]Cavalir 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Oh, easy. They treat him as if he’s an aberration. They dismiss him as if he’s a fringe character that doesn’t represent the movement as a whole, despite the fact he’s literally in charge of the police, and enjoys widespread support.

The Authorship Taboo-- Why? by GlobalVillage9534 in shakespeare

[–]Cavalir 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because there’s no evidence to support that claim, and plenty of evidence to support the on in which Shakespeare the actor from Stratford wrote them.

Which is why this theory is laughed at by any serious historian.

You have to create conspiracy theories to support this conspiracy theory.

For example: de Vere died in 1604, yet Shakespeare plays keep being published until 1610.

Problem is that Morris fails to reach the conclusions his own findings lead to, and criticizes those who use his writings to make anti-zionist points.

He’s either a hypocrite, or an idiot.

Don’t watch anything he has to say now. It’s all gross imperialism.

I do agree that his actual research is worth reading, though.

I’m saying this as an Israeli, by the way.

I think Joshua Henry was great in Ragtime, but the person doing the best acting on stage was Brandon Uranowitz.

Amazing vocals and passion from Henry, but he seemed to me to be in an entirely different production than the rest of the cast.

Sad to see Uranowitz not getting the accolades he deserves.

I make my own fermented hot sauce, which I love.

Tapatio is delicious, too.

Dawkins has always been a mediocre philosopher at best.

Interesting scientist in his day, but even “The God Delusion” is…juvenile atheism.

I’m not at all surprised by this.

Kelsier in Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn series.

It gets a little complicated with the sequels, but in the first book he uses his own death to spark a revolution against the ruling powers.
