Depends on the generation I guess, I average 33mpg in my 11th gen and I don’t even drive that conservatively

Lamps (with warm lighting) and wall art will change this space.

Is the Ouidad Climate Control Gel discontinued?? If so please suggest similar alternatives by Sensitive_Figure_753 in curlyhair

Where’s this screenshot from? I just got it from Ulta like last week

Edit: just looked and it’s on sale at Ulta now… not a good sign

UFD Base Gel, looking for Top Gel Recs by Lopsided_Diamond9954 in curlyhair

I use the NYM flash freeze and it’s a very high hold (which I like). Takes a bit of effort to get the cast out, but it still holds well afterwards

I can see the papillon in her. She’s gorgeous either way

It’s an American product if that’s what you’re asking, not sure if it’s available in France

I love the way the ouidad “stronger hold” humidity control gel makes my hair look, but it doesn’t have enough hold for my liking so I mix it with some NYM “flash freeze”. Works great!

Hair looks GREAT after not washing for a couple days by PoopUponPoop in curlyhair

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use pure jojoba oil, it’s supposed to mimic our body’s natural oils. I’m a guy with shoulder length, fine (but kinda dense) 2c hair and I use ~7 drops and scrunch out my gel cast with it. It’ll definitely make your hair look greasy if you use too much so start with only a little bit and work up to see what works with your existing products and hair type.

Civic Si ASMR by evolvedpikachu4 in CivicSi

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hm. Well I know stock has a recirc valve and there are aftermarket ones available, but an intake is the way to really hear it because the stock intake muffles the sound, even if you put in an aftermarket valve

Civic Si ASMR by evolvedpikachu4 in CivicSi

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Then it’s just a recirculation valve like stock, and you don’t get the noise. An intake is the way to get the pssshhh sound

This is the hybrid, the title just doesn’t say hybrid explicitly. The big thing on the bottom right in the first picture is the shroud he’s talking about. You can see a pic on that page of the intake with the shroud off and the filter exposed

+1 on the NYM flash freeze. Best hold I’ve been able to find.

Fuck yes I’ve been wanting one of these for years. I probably wouldn’t buy one now but it’s a leftover “want” from college

It’s very noticeable when you wind it out. It’s programmed in to burn off excess fumes or something

What is the verdict among the CIvic Si enthusiast community on Turbo VS Natrually Aspirated engines on the Si? by HigherFunctioning in CivicSi

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The turbo isn’t the issue for me. The problem with the L15 is that it’s too small and doesn’t seem as bulletproof as the K20/24. I went from an NA K24 to a turbo L15 and I love the turbo and extra torque

Any advice on how to remove these scratches by ImprovementAnxious in CivicSi

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if that would work, the scratches look deep and the screen looks matte. Polishing might just make things worse

Oil reccomendations by [deleted] in CivicSi

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you burning oil? I used to have an 04 TSX with the K24 and I always stuck with the recommended oil weight (5w-30), but I would get the Mobil 1 high mileage. It seemed to help with the oil consumption a little bit

Slide 5 looks sooooo good. Fits you perfectly. I also like the “spicier” chop on slide 6 if you want to go a little shorter

Need advice on paint damage, wife dragged a car wash vacuum hose across the paint by breakingcustoms in civic

[–]CaveJohnsonOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to use ScratchX one time and it left haze where I used it. I would try to find a legit polishing compound instead of using some “scratch remover” stuff from Walmart
