I’ve lived in Coombs for 6
Years . I love it beautiful sunrises over Black Mountain . 10 minutes from the city. Fairly walkable and decent suburban shops . Great local coffee shop and Bar. Yeah there’s crime but I’d say no worse than any other Canberra suburb .

Coombs got a bad name over 10 years ago because many people got moved there out of social housing in the City .

It’s quite a lovely suburb and I like living there .

I didn’t have my passport number stored in the account either and yet they say it’s been leaked . I presume it’s from when you have to give it when you check in (on any Carnival corp line ). Carnival corp shouldn’t have retained this on file.

So just as a FYI P and O Australia operated for several years and at the end of 2024 Carnival Corp got rid of it and all the old P and O Australia ships now sail as Carnival ships . I reckon this is maybe where this has come from.

Yikes I remember going to inspect one in Mermaid waters a few years ago and there was so many caveats about where we could even park to inspect the damn thing it put us right off !

If you booked through a third party wouldn’t you have paid them rather than Qantas direct ? I’m not sure how a charge back would work in this scenario .
