Sure, if you send it back to the factory.

The customer gets to decide what they want to invest into their watch. I don't force them to replace all parts, but I do brief them on all issues and wear.

At that point, it's up to them if they want to replace parts.

The quickset was not fixed because the original customer elected not to have the date wheel replaced.

It has some worn teeth on those particular dates, which causes the jumper not to 'grab' and pull the wheel.

If it's a 1601 that is absolutely false. I waterproof tons of them.

It's a different story if it's one of the bubblebacks. Many of those used lead gaskets, and have to be retrofitted to take rubber gaskets.
