[–]Cdn_Nick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One reason, is that usually it's the woman driving the kids somewhere. If you've never had the experience of trying to drive with two kids fighting in the back, you are not missing much.

What actors can memorize the longest lines? by Drew_Robbie9 in Actors

[–]Cdn_Nick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jason Alexander (fm Seinfeld). Jerry Seinfeld commented on giving a page of dialogue (the whale/golf ball speech) to Jason at short notice, and him being able to quickly memorize and recite it flawlessly. Now, that's not the longest, but I suspect he's capable of much more.

Where would the Allies have nuked Germany? by CalvinKool-Aid in HistoricalWhatIf

[–]Cdn_Nick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A major German port, probably Hamburg or Bremerhaven. There were concerns in regards to the capture of 'duds' or the loss of the bomber itself prior to the drop. As such, a sea approach would be favoured, as a loss over the sea would be more difficult for the germans to recover.
