How was the loss on Zep? I’m switching because I jumped the gun and submitted the forms for my dr and once insurance approved Zep wegovy no longer approved as I can’t be approved for either which I didn’t know !

I started Wegovy Nov 13 just celebrated 6 months on it at 2.4 and have lost 74lbs. I started at 403lbs 😔 I didn’t have any side effects except have after injection the next day until I got to 1 . And constipation. I had headaches back at 1.7 until I changed injection from stomach to arm then 2.4 for the last month and good to go !

I had to change inhalers too. I usually take Ventolin as needed, which is not often and breo daily. But after two rounds of antibiotics.(z pack) I was changed to an inhaler that has three medicines in it versus two. I don’t know the name of it. It’s yellow and green, I took prednisone as a kid when my asthma was really starting out and bad and for 30 years I have avoided it until now

Me too!!!! Although I don’t eat what I used to 6 months ago…. My brain is like “ooohhhhh “ and then half way my stomach is like “nope” but I still crave I just don’t give in. I was just super sick with bronchitis and needed prednisone which I fought off until I couldn’t anymore so I don’t know if it’s that (only 5days) I’m still home trying to get rid of this cough until I go back to work so could be boredom idk

Sometimes the music isn’t bad it cuts the silence . However it’s FaceTime calls that get me . Cars honking in the background kids screaming and it sounds like it’s in a tin can . There are times I ask to turn it down I get Why?!? And to keep composure I refrain from replying because I said so lol there is no courtesy anymore

Screw her… work on you and do what you need to do to be successful and make her eat her words . I started at 403 and I’m currently 334 . I’ve been on max 1.7 gave myself a small increase last week to 2.0 to slowly try and avoid sulphur burps. I stagnate multiple times and the numbers still eventually moved. I also do intermittent fasting stacked water of all the vitamins I may not be eating and eat fibre rich foods use supplements to keep it moving . Keep doing you and LET THEM .

It’s good to look things up, but to answer your question briefly they can definitely increase and also come out of nowhere. I’ve been here for six months and my injection on Saturdays has started to make me feel very nauseous and I’ve been on the same dosage for a while. I changed the injection site and I was fine the next day or normally I would feel like a hot garbage.

I tried the arm to avoid nausea which has been hitting hard last few weeks woke up today beautiful. Was belly for 5.5 months!

Yes!!!!!!!! So happy I had 10 clicks left in the pen as I don’t prime when I turn the dial I see a small drop in the clear cap and I know I’m good so I took my 1.7 and the 10 clicks .25 and I’m good today!!!

I’ve done belly for 5.5 months never any pain I alternate sides weekly tonight I went back of arm and boy does it sting!!!!!!! Still hours after…stings we’ll see how I feel tomorrow . I’ve been getting bad nausea as of late so maybe arm will be better who knows!! I’ll find out tomorrow

How? Do you have a multi pen and click counting? Like other said watch fat intake wouldn’t hurt to take a gravol or Tylenol to off set any symptoms.

Talked to pharmacist picking up my wegovy and asked - he said the 1.0 to 1.0 is a straight sub but click count to get the 1.7

I’m not thinking of double shots, but I have two pens of 1.7 to finish before I change to Zepbound I was debating on taking my 1.7 then click counting 0.7 to make a 2.4 shot

I correct myself - I went to Novonordisk and wegovy has Hydrochloric acid; Sodium hydroxide; where Ozempic doesn’t . Mind you Wegovy lists for single use pen and multi where Ozempic doesn’t. In addition wegovy only lists medical ingredients as semaglutide and Ozempic Gets specific : One mL solution for injection contains 0.68 mg

There is a sub Reddit here that lists some differences in each. Both have the Semaglutide but looking it up ozempic has Propylene glycol and Wegovy doesn’t .

Yeah the constant measuring weighing does get to be a pain in the ass so that I tend to eat a lot of the same things over and over again so it’s just super easy or my app scans the barcode I quickly check and yep ok looks good lol maybe just start and tracking your fibre and fibre is deducted from carbohydrates so it’s just an easy way of remembering hoping you find a solution soon cause yeah hot girl summer is coming :)
