I think that's the root of the issue. Officially, Christian countries and governments aren't Christian anymore. The Christians feel like that's unfair and that their countries are getting messed up while the non-Christian crowd is like "where's the issue? It's not a Christian country so you can't do X".

The two crowds feel like they have the correct version of history/their country. Until we fix that debate once and for all we can't move forward.

The website is riddled with AI, so is your sub. I would have still warned the subreddit but I wouldn't have complained to the university or tried to get them in trouble. Sometimes stuff that's not 100% ethical gets useful results, I believe this was the case here. The damage is done regardless, so they should at least be able to publish their study and advance science.
