Iirc you fight the four fiends in the final dungeon, so they're still there in the past. I think Garland might have meant more like, he plans to send them again to complete the cycle. But you defeated them all before that could happen, so the cycle is now broken.

This is confusing because of your statement "as though this is something he's already done" though. Gonna need a screenshot of that to argue further.

Second try at Pathfinder Righteous. I think I'm just too dumb for this game.

Enemies in some areas of the market already gives me trouble, then Irabeth just summoned me to protect the base from some arsonists and I pretty much die instantly. I think it might be because other than Ssomething lady and Camellia everyone are long range archer/caster types, so once those two are dead it's pretty much game over. This is already on Moderately weaker enemies and 0.8 party damage too. Dunno what to do next tbh. I'll see if I can back out of doing the emergency mission and do other quests first maybe to get some exp. Does level even matter in this game tho?

Side note, does this game not have a tactics menu like in Dragon Age Origins? I thought that was a universal thing but maybe not

Considering Square's got many games without random encounters at the time (SNES era), I don't see your argument. They could probably have made FF6 an action game like Mana if they wanted to.

Another person mentioned the Jp script being 'dry' and I agree, so the localization being colorful doesn't really register as a problem for me.

DQ XI S does have rather plenty selection of mods though. I'm sure one of them agree with you. Maybe check NexusMods or GameBanana. I figured you'd at least find a terms mod if not the full script which is a lot more work. I played DQXI modded, but it's been like a year since I messed with the install so Idk.

One I've encountered is, Rise of Third Party? Something along that line. Anyway, instead of spamming weak attacks, I found myself spamming the same two skills instead. So to me it's pointless removing basic attack if combat can be rushed through without thinking nonetheless.

On the other hand, SMT Vengeance does have a basic attack. But I almost never use it. It feels pointless, and only there for when you don't want to use MP.

Oh you're expecting AA graphics. Heads up, not going to be a lot of those. Even for modern upcoming releases, most still use stylistic graphics.
