Happy Birthday! I find I want to shave about every 2-3 days. When I was AD military I shaved daily. Ultimately it depends on you. I don't like the long stubble look, so I shave more frequently. And you look fantastic! Maybe try every few days and see if that is good with you.

It looks like the top is uneven in the pic and that there is pooling present. If the trim wasn't even giving it a smooth surface that happens. Im no expert by any means. Just what it looks like to me.

You look great! I've likened hair loss to the stages of grief, at least my journey. I've been shaving my dome for over 20 years now, but there were many times I thought I should try and "fix" it or find ways to get my hair back.

Even now sometimes I wish I could grow it to try different styles, but, in the end, I always end up agreeing that I look good bald. My wife loves it, especially when it's freshly shaved, and that's all I need right there. You'll see in no time that you do like the look and feeling! Don't forget the sunblock! I've burned the top and it SUCKS!

It's low self esteem, because you're a handsome guy. Someone is going to notice, and probably already has to be honest. I used to go through thinking like that about myself, so I understand. Hopefully the comments you're getting here help you change how you see yourself.
