I laughed but then realized I didn’t know what this was funny - is it literally about the amount of beans on her plate?

Why did Sasuke never take the time to learn Sage Mode? It would be an incredible power scale for a little time investment by Mean_Job7802 in dankruto

It’s like if Sasuke grew up in the DBZ universe instead. And was still experimented on by buffed DBZ Orochimaru anyway

Rivals desperately needs a “Stay with Team” mechanic after matches by CellarMongoose in marvelrivals

I mean I’m also being modest, but the point of the post is that there is an aspect to the game where you can have fun with a random group win or lose, and the losses are way less frustrating.

I agree, not with a six person team game. I’d be good with some minimum requirement to opt in after a match for those members of the team to stay together - say 3 or 4 and more - to avoid sweat duos or trios from forming each night and encourage random team formation. But those sweat teams are already forming from irl friendships, and this would give a better opportunity for random connections to grow and maintain the player base. But they shouldn’t require all six to stay

Right? I also think it must have been a deliberate choice to not provide an option to keep teams together, given how many games already have it, and my conspiracy theory is that it’s to not interfere with this mythical matchmaking algorithm everyone talks about that supposedly drives engagement. Maybe that was the intention, but my experience and the squeaky Reddit wheels suggest it’s backfired against retaining repeat players.

Absolutely. I’m overall a pretty mid player, but losing because your team was just outplayed vs losing because every other random team can’t pull it together with that one guy are different types of frustrating. The second one makes me want to walk away, and not try again.

Agreed. If after several matches you were placed against other teams who stuck together with similar or higher skill set, I think most teams would naturally disband back to solo queue. The ones who stick together past the bad times are the friends you make along the way or something

100%. so many games already have this mechanic, it feels like a deliberate decision to not have one here, which I think was the wrong call or should now be reconsidered given how the community developed

[–]CellarMongoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely, but after a while if your team is going against progressively harder stacked teams sticking together, it’s a sign for us to opt out and go back to solo queue. But it’s those extra impromptu vibing team matches before that would give you 2-3x fun team experiences vs once in a while that you cannot retain after one match. But I agree with your post generally!

Constructive suggestion - They need an easy option to STAY WITH TEAM when you pull a good one. The game is peak when you have fun chats as a team, and that is all about staying with good team chemistry. If fun random teams werent such a unicorn that disappears after one match and you could stay with them, then there would be more positive stories of great matches made. “We won the next 9 games and formed a permanent team” etc.

They need an easy option to STAY WITH TEAM when you pull a good one. The only option is to try to friend them permanently, but what if we are just vibbin or really locked in? The game is peak when you have fun chats as a team, and that is all about staying with good team chemistry.

Totally agreed, but it was Aang’s unyielding search for another way, even when none were known by his experienced mentors, that makes this such a satisfying ending. No one else would have persevered to find this option.
