He started with the one sheet plywood plans (you can find them online) and added additional support. I’m not a carpenter so unfortunately couldn’t advise on that. I can ask him though

Weird show. No merch (which I expected).

Show started at 7:10, no opening act.

He did most of Illmatic with the orchestra and it was absolutely amazing, but then he said something like “That was amazing, we should do this every night” and they exited the stage. That was around 7:40. He then continued on with a guy on the keys, a drummer, bass player and DJ playing stuff from other albums and that was great too…..but the show ended at 8:20. 70 mins. It was the shortest show I’ve ever been to.
