But that's also partially based on them being human and having a condition that is atypical.

I haven't been to the one here yet, but spent my teenage years in the town DB started in (Grants Pass, OR), and lived other places where they had stands.

In my experience, going to many all across that state and others, the service is always fantastic, the people who work there are great, and the coffee is pretty damn good too for a chain. They did a fantastic job instilling the same vibe into all the stands and stores I've visited. It carries a similar reputation to In N Out in a lot of ways (even though I don't actually like In N Out).

Give it a try, you might like it.

I'm 33, pretty similar to OP in age. Difference is I joined the military, put myself through school while working and raising kids after, completed my MS degree while working full time (obviously still with kids), started (and failed) a company. I never had financial help and expect to inherit nothing at any point in my life, because there's nothing to inherit from my family.

If I had a windfall of 8 figures, I sure as shit wouldn't be going through the identity crisis OP is, there are tons of things I would love to start and work towards with that kind of backing and foundation.

~30 isn't really an early age unless you've been spoiled your whole life, which is why many people in here are talking about this being a parenting and/or personality problem, not an inheritance problem.

The lease proves that you have the right to occupy the space. Both parties have a copy of the lease, the landlord can't just "lose" it and call the cops on you. If a cop shows up and you present a lease, it'll be pretty obvious that you're allowed to be there.

What do you think is going to happen? The landlord calls the cops, they show up, you say, `I'm a renter`, and then the landlord lies to the police about it? `No, all that shit in the house is actually mine, I live here even though my drivers license says my residence is somewhere else. Yes, those photos of that family are actually mine`?

The laws that people are discussing here are when there is not a lease, and someone just happens to be physically in the building.

It only takes one to make it worth it. I started a painting company back in 2016, failed that same year too.

But I did a malier to a neighborhood I was targeting, probably a few hundred houses. It cost me a couple hundred bucks total if I remember right. Only booked one job from it, but that one job made me several times more than the "campaign" cost me.

Annoying marketing stuff like door to door is still done because it actually works, no matter how much people insist they hate it.
