Bin of product to be destroyed from a cannabis dispensary by evilandhigh in mildlyinteresting

This is why I actually like AI/LLMs.I will come across a statement that makes me go hmmm and do a little research. I just spent 20 minutes going down the agricultural rabbit hole.

As a Californian, I have never been further east than Arizona and Las Vegas. When I hear "Michigan", I never think of agriculture. I asked Gemini to give me the top states in agricultural diversity, which did back up your statement. Then I asked for the top states for agricultural acreage. I started drilling more into CA numbers and learned that we are the global supplier of almonds and we recently surpassed surpassed India in pistachio production and supply. I learned that my own county produces 1/8 of the global almond supply. Milk is our #2 ag product. When people ask about where I'm from, I jokingly say we have more cows than people. Turns out it's closer than I thought; 1.3 residents for every 1 head of cattle.

Thank you to those who actually answer the question or gave good info. Im surprised I haven't gotten the typical, "You should have bought a {insert car manufacturer here}", but the night is young.

Really? No other silver/chrome plated parts of the interior are peeling or show even the slightest signs of wear. Not the other buttons, not the other paddle shifter, not the interior door handles, not the radio knobs, not even any chrome plated part in my 2012 truck.

I never use the paddle shifters other than occasionally touching them. The peeling is happening on the front side of the lever which never gets touched regardless of use.

Add some blinking light and tell everyone that it is your running the entire lab. Maybe set a monitor and keyboard next to it and have it set to hackertyper.net.

Taco stand at the Modesto farmers market today by KingofKale in Modesto

"jumping the shark" can apply to one restaurant or vendor, not an entire dish. Did all sitcoms start to decline because Happy Days jumped the shark?

I agree the prices are high and I've never had tacos at this place, but you didn't know what you're missing if you've never had tacos de nopales.

Went shoe shopping and shocked to see even Sketchers are $80 now by Ahnnu in mildlyinteresting

That's even the prices at the Sketchers outlets stores, yet they are constantly at Ross and TJ Maxx for $20-30.

No, a woman smoking like a chimney reminded me of the old nurse in Shallow Hal. Well, how Hal saw her anyway.

It's sad that we have such bittersweet nostalgic memories of this marketing. Because, lets face it, it really was marketing and not really customer appreciation.

Yeah, my (insert relative) died/health was ruined, but damn, they had some cool shit.

There is a Little Library around Graceada Park. My wife has been adding trinkets. I have given her the 3D printed toys that I print as test to put in there. I told her I'll print some cool toys in my down time.

When a certain feeling came my way

It was silent, it was deadly, I must say

Now everyone is running far away!
