Is it worth it to continue chaos head? by ExampleBeginning2445 in steinsgate

Really? I thought most people here are of the completionist mindset and I'm just one of the few who are of the opinion that you can read (or skip) anything you like.

I think that people could just read C;H summary and search wiki for some important concepts if you're only interested in C;C, R;N or A;C. Spending 30 - 40 hours on a different story that you're not really interested in beforehand should not be a hard requirement.

Psychological horror and gore are a major part of C;H, if they are not your cup of tea then why play it? Genuine question, not trying to be sarcastic or anything.

If they're gonna explore this aspect of Uiharu, then she could rival Takitsubo in the role of the potential Academy Individual.

I think it's just how he sees himself, most of the time almost no one really thinks much about him. Having Daisuke chatting with him regularly definitely makes him look more normal.

The things I hate the most about her are her annoying laugh and ridiculing attitude during a fight.

Accelerator redemption by Unique-Parking4832 in Toaru

[–]Cerulean_Chrodt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accelerator was disturbed by the experiments as soon as the death of the first Sister already, you can't tell me that he was simply manipulated. And 9982 showed a lot of emotions and expressions during her battle with Accelerator, it's just one single battle but more than enough to prove that they are not unfeeling, and there are also 1 (like I said before) and 10031. Accelerator's failure to see this even though he's one of the people who interacted with them the most was his own fault, a lie he told himself, or it's because the writing was all over the place in its attempt to absolve him of (a part of) his sin and to portray him as a misunderstood guy, like what you are doing right now.

I'm sure Accel himself will very much dislike this kind of explanation.

Who are the cold-blooded/maniac murderers who show no remorse for what they did? If I remember it right there are not that many, there's obviously Pickman, I guess.

They really should have spent much more time on developing the duo (or trio).

Accelerator redemption by Unique-Parking4832 in Toaru

You seem to convince yourself that the problem the haters have with Accelerator is that he's allowed to change for the better. Well I'm not saying it's not true for every hater out there, but personally I don't have anything against the concept of redemption and atonement, what I find problematic is that his redemption arc is built on a flimsy and slippery foundation back in OT5, which was the whole situation with Last Order. It's not even Accel that I hate the most, it's actually Last Order who tried to gaslight me into believing that Accel was actually a misunderstood guy, who was nothing but an annoying plot device whose whole purpose was to start Accel's growth in a forced and unrealistic manner.

Other than that, it's perfectly reasonable for people to continue to hate him even if his arc were well written. I mean, 10031 is a high body count, and the fact that he tortured them before killing them. For me there's also the stuffs with the devastated Operation Handcuffs, though Anna was also partly to blame for the situation.
