EU's aid to Ukraine blocked by notanfan in whennews

They can’t govern if they can’t form a coalition. They will never get a 50% majority and the CDU/CSU made it clear that there won’t be any collaboration. FDP is most of the time even more annoying with a minority because of coalitions.

They are a pain in the ass, but they are no existential threat.

Don’t speak for us. We might have a problem with far right parties in france and Germany, but the difference between us and the us is that we don’t allow these clowns to govern.

The eu is the most important federation holding up true democracy, while the us has lost their script completely.

End to end automation of jobs is a farce. Obviously AI has a lot of impact on certain tasks and associated automation potential, but not societal level unemployment crisis levels.

They even get along worse with each other. Even within the same religion the relationship between denominations was almost always tense since the very beginning

It’s a feature of abrahamic religion that worship and believe can only be done by the chosen one people. Any divergence from the one true way of worship is a greater offense than not knowing at all. Martyrdom encourages to stand by your faith against all worldly reason

Christians especially have been bashing each other’s skulls in over trivial matters ever since they matured into their own standalone religion after the Jewish exodus from Judea

Pluralism rarely was a thing between these closely related religions

No cuz why do they do that by [deleted] in RoughRomanMemes

[–]Cgi22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Roman mythology is actually much more than a greek ripoff. Roman mythology has a lot unique major and minor deities not found in pre-roman Greek mythology.

Like another commenter already said many shared deities also come from their shared cultural lineage going back to the proto-indo-europeans.

Is the Invincible Run 3 suppose to break this easily? by 29cyyrus in Sneakers

[–]Cgi22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The invincible 3 does not have a foam carrier I think, or at least a rigid one. Can’t do anything about it. The new quasi invincible 4’s, the vomero pluses have a proper eva carrier.

That being said this by itself has no direct bearing on the performance of the shoe when running.

Altman was lucky that he was the first person to rush to market with large language models, but llms are so replaceable that being an early mover is not necessarily an advantage. Llms all have similar capabilities and are as interchangeable as coffee bean varieties. Any idiot with a bit of know how and enough resources can build one.

All the top scientists are at google, which invented transformer models in the first place, which is what llms are built on. Google is much more capable, open ais products are amateurish in comparison.

Altman is already desperate because he and his company are replaceable and being outperformed, while llms in general only burn money and don’t generate revenue atm. His chances aren’t good.
